The moment we stepped inside from a bracing Teignmouth seafront the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff so attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic with tea and bread and butter on the side. All for a tenner each. A great experience we will be repeating often

Went into the restaurant as a family of about 10 and we all enjoyed a great dinner. Fish and chips were excellent and the service welcoming, friendly and very helpful (we were quite an awkward bunch!).

We citied for the second time in October and had the regular fish and chips, plenty for us and as good a quality as you would expect for fish and chips. Prices very slightly above average, but then again, you walk 30 meters sky on the sea front and watch the waves and weather come it, worth it!

We ordered fish and chips for four plus bread and butter. The waitress looked about 14 and had no people skills. The bread never came, and she tried to charge us for it, we had to ask for tartare sauce and ketchup. What arrived was watered down economy ketchup and watery tasteless tartar - one egg cup size dollop between... More

We'd sussed out prior to our visit to Teignmouth where there were good fish and chips and Finn McCools had been recommended so we headed straight for it. Was busy and there was a queue, but hey, this to me is the sign of a good trade. If there was no queue it's probably because the locals don't rate it.... More
