It is a steep climb to the Hagia Yorgi Church, but you are rewarded by the beauty all around and a treat at this restaurant. I had lamb kebobs and a salad-both excellent. Visiting in October meant you had it all to yourself.

After the long walk up to visit the Aya Yorgi Greek Church, this little eatery is a welcome refreshment stop. The views over Sedef Ada are pretty and it is a very peaceful venue.

Placed atop of a very steep hill, the beauty of the view and the quality of the food justify this restaurant's being one of the top places in Büyükada. The meatballs (köfte), dolma and börek are my recommendations along with house wine. Also, as there are many sides to the view, I recommend eating at one side and drinking coffee... More

We had lunch here in September and thought everything was amazing. The food (meatballs and fries) was delicious, the salad fresh, the service quick and friendly, and the view from on top of the island simply breathtaking. We were not here during high season, so I don't know if things are the same when it's more crowded, but I've been... More

I had a light lunch here and although not extensive, I was quite pleased with the range of items available and the reasonable prices. In addition, the view was great, and the service was prompt and friendly.

Best view, best food on Büyükada but do not go there on national holidays as it is crowded and you have to wait for a long time in the queue to get your food. Prefer going there on an ordinary weekend and enjoy the service, food and wine! Everything is delicious but at a reasonable price.

Well, we made the roughly 3 mile walk from downtown Buyukada to Aya Yorgi and Yüceltepe Kır Gazinosu... it was worth the walk! We set out at about two hours before sunset, and the walk took about 1.5 hours. Delightful! We caught the sunset and headed over to Yucetepe Kir Gazinou which is basically part of the church complex. We... More
