We went there for the "calçots", it's a typical dish of Valls, made of grilled onions that you dip in a delicious almond sauce. Don't be scared by the picture, it looks quite unappetizing but it's very good ! I also recommend the grilled vegetables and the grilled filet, very tasty.

We were there with a group of 20. Excellent service, excellent food. We ordered snails, lamb shoulder, steak, duck breast, Catalan soup (forgot what it's called), flan. Food is not overly salted. Fantastic view from the restaurant. A kids playground just a stairs down from the restaurant. Wonderful experience & atmosphere. Reservation is strongly recommended.

This is an awesome restaurant, with the views to match. Wonderful service, with great attention to detail. I started with the Onion soup, opted for meat as mains and the local Creme Catalan for dessert, followed by coffee. All superbly cooked and delivered. I would definitely recommend this place for a great meal

We went there with my couple. Its a lovely place, it has something that catches you at the very first moment. The place is beutiful, the candles on the tables and the excellent service. The food is just amazing. It's not cheap but it is worth it.

If you are driving in col de Lilla you do not stop in this restaurant beside the road unless you had a previous reservation. Never seen before in a road restaurant. Nice view. Food was impossible to taste. Almost 60 per cent of tables free at 2.15 pm but no seats available. Drive down either to Valls or Montblanc. Good... More

Great Catalunyan wine crafted since 14th century by monks, carpaccio of delicious tomatoes with Parmesan and drizzling of truffle and olive oil with balsamic vinegar, deer filet with Boletus mushrooms - not hard to see how a thousand years of continuous improvement can make an evening so memorable - even though deprived or any company

this is a truly excellent restaurant in a wonderful place, high on the mountain pass above Valls. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and speak excellent English when the Catalan dries up. We ha an amazing salad to start which incongruously consisted of lettuce, pear, strawberries, chocolate and nuts. Our mains of prawns, grilled vegetables and venison in a mushroom... More

Nine of us arrived here unannounced as we had given up trying to find somewhere in Valls. So we headed toward Montblanc. We swerved across the road and parked up. Unbelievable view. First impressions were that it was going to be expensive but it clearly wasn't. We were served by two passionate waiters who wanted to involve us in their... More

Passed by the restuarant on a very cold winter night and thought it looks nice and cosy to have our late dinner there. True to my first impression, we order the typical catalan soup (Escudella), delicious and hot to keep us warm. They served us in a big pot so we can have more helpings if we want to. Well... More

Wonderful place, service and food. My only regret is not having been there at lunch time so as to taste the infamous "calçotada" from this region. I guess I will just have to come back for that!
