If you’re staying near-by, a night here is not to be missed! Everything is exceptional, from the food to the service. We’ve never experienced service like it. It’s a very small restaurant with perhaps no more than 10 tables so they are very attentive. My...husband booked a reservation for our 1st wedding anniversary. They’d decorated the table to make it that little bit more special. He had also been in touch regarding a nice bottle of something which they asked us about straight away. The food was the nicest meal we’ve had whilst holidaying here. Halloumi, and Spicy Octopus to start which was nothing like we’ve ever had before. We then had the lamb skewers and Dorado (fish) for main which they kindly filleted at the table infront of us. The food was very tastey, made to order, and very filling! When we thought we were finished they brought complimentary fruit and dessert….along with Raki. There is no rush at the restaurant, you can stay as long as you need to and towards the end of the night they make that clear too…as they enjoy a shot or two of raki with you. Overall, booking here a few weeks before we arrived is the best decision we could have made and you definitely cannot visit the area without eating here. We are just disappointed we aren’t staying longer to be able to go back. Thank you to all of you for making our wedding anniversary a night to remember!More

At risk of repeating previous reviewers this Taverna is simply fabulous. The setting on the small beach is what many will imagine when they think of a Greek taverna. The food, although typical is far from ordinary. This is a family run business and not...only do they make their own olive oil but grow a lot of the vegetables they serve. The brothers and their cousin who serve front of house are warm, engaging and go out of their way to make all of their guests feel special. We booked ( and you do have to book for dinner as they conciously don’t cram people in although they certainly could) and when we turned up it became apparent there was a slight misunderstanding and had booked us in for two nights later. However they did squeeze us in and we had the most fabulous meal. The pride of the family in their establishment is fully justified. Their warmth and welcome is just wonderful Be aware the portions are very generous especially if you are tackling the mixed grill! The food though is very well presented. Random dips and tapenades also appeared which we all fresh and home made. Complimentary fruit yoghurt and ice cream is served after dinner with Raki and yes the brothers and cousin drink and toast with you Needless to say we returned two nights later keeping our “initial”reservation. That was a very easy decision to make. Truly a highlight of our holiday Evviva!More

Absolutely outstanding. Delicious food, fabulous service, fun atmosphere. So pleased we managed to get a table for the last night of our holiday. Would highly recommend - book before you arrive as they are booked up for 1-2 weeks in advance.
