We had lunch here today and it was the most tasteful Casado with chicken I had so far in CR. The tomato sauce was great and the chicken legs very juice. All good.

Nachos were delicious, husband and son had typical Costa Rican lunch - pork, rice, beans, spaghetti (?!), potatoes

Started our stay in Uvita with a lunch here, and it was delicious! The casado was huge and delicious, and the relaxed, authentic vibe was awesome. Would definitely recommend for a great authentic Costa Rican soda!

In fact I am sitting here right now enjoying Huevos Rancheros. I love the fact that they use fresh ingredients, the ladies are super friendly and I just love to come here. It's a quiet spot and it's mainly locals here. If you want to experience the proper Costa Rican cuisine this soda is an excellent choice.

We went here today for lunch and the food was so good! You are in someone's backyard but that just added to the experience. I had a typical meal with pork which was very good. My husband and son had the nachos. They were SOOO good. There is a Dona Marie on the Main Street as well. We went to... More

Follow directions previously given, or ask directions. 1st driveway to left..end of road turn left drive to parking. Do not be intimidated. Friendly friendly friendly. Very little English but you can get through it. No alcohol but the smoothies are awesome. We had nachos that were obviously made to order..fresh..you could smell the cilantro as you heard her chopping it.... More

What a lovely little place to eat! We Took our granddaughter and had Casado con pollo a la planche and Casado con pescada a ajillo. Both were tasty and made fresh. The woman who owned the restaurant and who served us was very kind and attentive. It is off the beaten track and not swamped by tourists, which was exactly... More

Find this place! Heading south on La Costanero, turn left at the Banco de Costa Rica, turn left again at the first dirt street, drive to the end and turn left. It looks like you're in someone's driveway, which you are. Walk to the end and have a seat. Enjoy. We found this place using Trip Advisor, and I wanted... More

This place is hard to find if you're not familiar with the town. Off the highway turn east at the Bank of Costa Rica. Turn left onto another dirt road (there is a sign pointing the way). It's to the left at the end of that road. The nachos were amazing, very fresh tomatoes and cilantro. Makes my mouth water... More
