Travel Route:-
If you travel from Mumbai I suggest taking the longer route through Mumbai-Pune Expressway. You get many pit stops and food stops. However, if you wish to take the shortest route through pen...- mahad, then I suggest to carry some food in your car. The route from Mahad Ghat to mahableshwar is awesome and breathe taking.
Food Experience at Evershine:-
The food is awesome and so is the taste. Although being a 4-star hotel, the food pricing is expensive. I feel, the cost of the free facilities they are providing is being set-off here.
Facilities at Evershine:-
The number of activities at the resort are unparalleled. From kids activities to adults, and swimming pool, everything is over the top. I feel no other 4-star resort provides so many facilities on FOC basis. However, you will be charged for cycling and kids battery car use.
Staff at Evershine:-
The staffs are good and helpful. Although I had one bad experience with "Make My-room", the manager was extremely helpful to resolve the issue and made sure that I and my family do not encounter the same for the balance stay of my visit. Shankar (chef), Rampada and other was one more girl [i forgot to ask her name], they provided over the top food and service to all.
Small Mishap in Invoicing:-
I advice to tally your invoicing before you leave the hotel because this is the 1st time I have ever faced such an issue. There was some miscalculation by the front desk in the billing amount. Although when I was exiting the hotel, they said not to pay the extra amount as it was wrongly charged to me, but later in the afternoon I got a call to pay that amount. To avoid unhealthy discussions, I paid it and closed the matter.
Overall my stay was good. Although there were few ups and downs but I would definitely suggest my friends to stay here at least once.
