We came for dinner here based on trip advisor reviews. On arrival staff were very welcoming. We ordered food and were given complimentary popadoms and dips while waiting. The food arrived and was amazing. We had the garlic chips for starters which were very good. The bill came and for two courses and soft drinks for the two of us it was less than 1000 rupees. Which we thought was very good due to the quality of food. Would definitely go back.

My favourite restaurant in Goa!
I loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious. I would recommend the Chicken Tika Marsala with lemon rice. The other dish that was so tasty was a prawn dish in tomato gravy with peppers and onion.
I can’t remember the Indian name for it. We also had a green onion pakora that was prepared in a very light batter with a green mint side of dipping sauce.
You will not be disappointed.
The service was a little slow as it sometimes is in Indi but the food is worth the wait.

Always visit relish several times when in goa and never had a complaint. A group of 8 of us went this week and everyone was very impressed with the food and service. Extensive menu, reasonably priced and superb quality. Will be back!

This is a difficult review to write as we have been going here for years & the food is always a delight - and it still is.
However, having arrived early we were shown a table in an area with just three other diners who were already eating. Just as we started to eat our meal they finished theirs & started to smoke quite intensely - I suspect they were cheap local cigarettes as the smoke was foul. (My partner smokes roll ups & it is difficult to smell them at all). I asked for the fan immediately above the table to be switched on to clear the smoke which solved the problem.
As I continued to eat I noticed the smoke intensify again & spotted the fan had been switched off. On calling the waiter it turned out that diners who had arrived while we were eating had demanded the fan be turned off despite the fact they were smoking. The waiter said he would turn the fan on low; however he turned it on full.
Shortly afterwards we heard the various other diners/smokers complaining about the fan & it was switched off again.
At this point we finished our main course, went to the bar & paid.
It does not seem unreasonable to me to that the smoking area would be ventilated.
I left angry that we had been hounded out of a restaurant that we have previously loved before we had finished our meal.
The staff had two opportunities to deal with it but they felt smoking was more important than than dining.
We had intended to go back a couple times over the next two weeks once our 4 friends arrived but sadly this will not be happening now.

My wife Connie and I have been visiting GOA and India for over twenty years now. We have visited and enjoyed some of the finest restaurants during our many years in India, also visiting many more in continental Europe. We can honestly say, that Relish in Baga is our number one, and we have always been so impressed that we have no hesitation in recommending it to all our friends here in GOA. On arrival you are greeted by the management and staff with genuine warmth and a desire to please. The menu is quite extensive, and you will certainly have no difficulty in selecting a meal to satisfy the most sensitive of palates. Proprietors Natalie and Vinny continue to impress, and their personal and intimate interest in all their diners suggest that Relish will continue to be No. 1 for many years to come. Highly recommended. Kevin & Connie Doherty.

If you love curry, then you must visit Relish. The food is really authentic, and you can tell it as been made fresh to order. The owner/chef Vinny is a great bloke and will always come and speak to his diners if he gets the time. The rest of the staff are all very friendly and professional. There is a great ambiance about the place, and they often have life music.

We had dinner at this place during our stay at Baga beach, which was very good. I inquired about a cooking class, because a regular tourist advised that we ask. The owner, Vinny, was very accommodating and fit us in the very next day for a private class for my mom and I. He explained everything very well, including spices and techniques. He demonstrated most of it, but had us participate by sampling everything as it was prepared. Everything was delicious and we got to pick our own main courses to prepare. We also learned to cook onion Bahji, rice, chapati, and dahl. There was so much food by the end, he let my dad join us for the meal, even though he didn't do the class. It was a memorable experience!

If tomorrow was going to be my last meal and I had the choice of where to eat it would be Relish!
Also if you have the time ask Vinny about his cooking classes, you can learn how to make your favourite dishes and the get to eat it at the end. It cost about £30 each for about 3 hours including the food (which fed 2-3) and was worth every penny!

Superb restaurant tucked away on a side road off the main strip but luckily for us only a 5 minute walk from our accommodation.
There are so many places to eat and drink in but this place is by far the best around, the staff are superb, friendly and helpful and the menu is so varied that we ended up eating here nearly everyday.
The food itself is amazing and we never had a bad dish, or most importantly we never had any bad stomachs, the food including all the salads is clearly cleaned and stored with food hygiene in mind plus the ice is filtered and the milk is pasteurised.
The breakfast menu is excellent and the coffee is as good if not better than 90% of places in the UK, the European, Asian and Indian choices on the main menu were all so delicious and the portion sizes are huge, so be careful how much you order especially when it’s all so, so cheap! I mean if you manage to spend more than £10 per head on a meal with a few drinks you will have eaten like a king.
So if you are staying in the area this place is a must go to where you can eat and really relax in superb surroundings with excellent staff without the worry of any food related tummy problems. And as an added bonus the toilets are very “Western” and kept very clean.

This is such a nice, peaceful and relaxing restaurant. The food is so tasty and we weren’t sure what to order so the owner helped us and it ended up being one of our favourite meals in India so far! All the staff were lovely too - great restaurant!

In our ten years of visiting Goa rarely we had experienced food of such quality and taste. Amazing host, personalized taste and value for money. We tried couple of dishes on the host' s suggestion and what an amazing dish that was. If you ever happen to be there don't forget to try their prawn/crab stuffed chicken. The menu is exclusive and has enough to chose and whatever we chose we were more than satisfied.
We wish to visit the restaurant more than once whenever we are in Goa in future.

My husband and I returned to Goa for the first time since Covid. On our first night back there we went to Relish our most favorite restaurant. Vinny and the staff made us so very welcome. The food there is simply unbelievable especially the Curries which are made to order and are so full of flavor and is truly delicious. The menu choice is amazing but should you require help to make your choice or fancy a change then Vinny is your man ! and is on hand to suggest and help you get exactly what your tastebuds are looking for. The Nan Breads are so tasty and mouth watering and simply the best that we have ever tasted. The restaurant is a delight, and the atmosphere and experience is awesome. it is not just the food which is absolutely divine its the setting, the warmth of welcome and staff. Taking all that in mind the cost is more than reasonable. See you next year guys.

Absolutely fabulous!
4 of us had dinner here & it was the best curry ever. There are European dishes also on the menu. Everything from the fluffy & perfectly cooked rice to the succulent, fresh chicken in a fragrant curry sauce of your choice was delicious. The setting is outdoors & peaceful.
Cannot recommend highly enough. Excellent service also ~ thank you for a lovely evening.

Having read the largely excellent reviews of the place, and in view of the covid scare, we decided to have a quiet new year eve dinner at Relish. But probably due to the travel restrictions for foreign tourists, the place has fallen on bad times. There were hardly any guests, although service was very good. Though they had a restricted menu (many meat items were not available), food was good. Another dampener was that the kitchen closed at 11 pm, which in my view is too early for a place like goa. Had gone with a lot of anticipation, but alas, was a bit disappointed.
