There were ten of us at this party. We were all welcomed on arrival, and the service at the bar was excellent. We sat outside with our drinks in the lovely spring sunshine. This place keeps on suprizing us with delicious food. Visited here last night for Mothers Day.All four of us had a three course meal.Starters were a prawn cocktail was well presented and three leek &potato soup - again lovely .For main we had Gammon , Lamb Shank & Chicken . Very delicious and enough on our plates .Homemade chips aswell.... More

This pub is a little gem! Lovingly run by it's landlady and friendly attentive staff!! It has a no nonsense approach to food and our Sunday Roast was just right!! I booked on messenger when the pub was closed Monday & Tuesday for the following Sunday lunch which was a lot easier & knowing how busy it would be. Sunday drive out decided to call in for lunch. Staff were lovely and friendly and it was the nicest Sunday lunch we have eaten out in a long time. 3 course meal was exceptional value So will certainly visit again. Thank you to Annie for making us feel so welcome.

Cosy pub with good food. Went for my partner's birthday, was a thoroughly anjoyable expereince and enjoyed the good food and cosy atmospehere. and she even got a free present from the landlady after she asked if we were there for a celebration. We will definitely be back.
