We had seen this restaurant on our travel company's app & it said the pizzas were the best so, while visiting Tremezzo, we decided to give them a try for lunch. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter & he was happy to confirm...More
El Timon was a recommendation from our concierge; we were looking for someplace nearby, tasty, and quiet, that overlooked the lake. We had a nice beef carpaccio, yummy pizza, and a lovely bottle of wine. All were delicious and reasonably priced. It's a fun spot...More
Considering it is in the surrounds of some very expensive hotels, El Timon offers tasty Roman style thin crust pizzas at a good price. The house wine is tasty and well priced. I would certainly return.
I decided to spend the day ferrying round Lake Como. Came to Tremezzo right at lunchtime and after wandering up and down past the lakeside restaurants, chose El Timon. I was on my own and looking forward to a peaceful lunch with a good book...More
I found this Ristorante to have the most reasonable prices of the handful of restaurants/pizzerias in the Tremezzo village. The food was very tasty, servings generous and the service was acceptable.
we had a nice dinner here one evening instead of eating at the horribly overpriced hotel tremezzo this was really good even though it felt like a Tourist trap they had some good heart with the service and the food.
We didn't expect much from this restaurant (which was suggested to us by our hotel valet), however, we were surprised. The pumpkin/amaretto risotto was a treat and my husband's steak was cooked to perfection. Desserts...Ah, chocolate...need I say more?
Great restaurant, very friendly, best value along the lake. We sat right by the lake and had pizza, great value and extremely tasty. Highly recommended
Had lunch here today. Great value, nice food and service. The pizzas looked good but after being in Italy for 3 weeks we drawled over the New York hamburger and chips went down well with a beer! Very nice with a view to die for!
