It is a fab restaurant with great food and service. Excellent setting for a hot evening. But don't forget to spray yourself with a mosquito repellent before going there :-)

Good if you like a lot of meat but otherwise average

This restaurant was recommended by our host in Rhodes as it was Cretan food which apparently is the best of Greek food. We went for dinner and had a mixed experience food wise. I think the waiters could have given us better guidance as to...some of our choices i.e. amongst our starters we ended up having the same cheese twice which was a waste i.e. a good restaurant would have highlighted this and recommended us changing one of the dishes to something else. My son and husband had meat as their mains and the portions were huge so one dish between two would work better. Sadly there were two other negatives: the noise and more so smell from the mainroad and the service definitely could have been better i.e. we often had to get the waiters attention to make anything happen vs them watching their tables.More

Lovely place

Perfect place for romantic dinner. You can enjoy lovely food under the jasmine flowers. Beautiful garden with olive trees and flowers. Food is so good. We tried many foods and meat skewer is so good and one is enough for 2 persons. Staff is really...friendly and gay couples also feel homely there. A voyage to Crete

A voyage to Crete. The food here is very tasty. A very diverse menu with great options not always the same. Snails the Cretan way are the highlight here. I also ordered the apaki pasta which was amazing! If you’ve been to Rhodes you would...know that the concept of service here is relaxed, and this place is no exception. It will take some time for you to place the order but overall it’s worth the time. Staff was kind enough to offer a complimentary drink towards the end. Highly recommend this place.More

excellent for dinner

we ordered the giant order of pork and chicken on the grill it was very good and enough for too! better to book as always full un a garden setting with live music

Excellent dinner!

Drosoulites restaurant offers Greek food, with several specialties from Crete. I was here for dinner, I had Dolmades and Pork Tigani - everything was excellent, servings were generous, service was friendly and prices were moderate. A very good restaurant in Rhodes town!

Excellent restaurant

Beautiful restaurant! The setting is amazing, and the food excellent! We came with a group and had a great time here, I highly recommend it for anyone in Rhodes who wants great food in a beautiful place full of jasmine

Not wanted at DROSSoulites

Visited here for lunch but can't comment on the food as we left after 20 minutes of being ignored. Started off well enough seated quickly with menus and then left waiting, waiting and waiting. Not even approached to take a drinks order, even after my...wife gained their attention, and although we were acknowledged, still no response for a further 10 minutes. So we upsticks and left leaving Rhodes Town with a bad taste in our mouths as this wasn't the only bad experience, sadly. (Be on your guard with the conmen in the old town selling large beers in glass boots(!) without disclosing prices and presenting a bill for €30 plus!!!) I agree with another reviewer that if you're not Greek then you're not wanted here.More

ok, but not the best in town

This is a busy restaurant. Our hotel was in this area of town so we passed by on a regular basis and they always seemed to have lots of customers. The food is acceptable, perhaps a little salty at times but generally perfectly edible. The...portions are generous. Two of our party had souvlaki which were almost daunting in size. Service was not the best , not terrible but definitely lacking in enthusiasm. We found much better establishments elsewhere in RodosMore
