This has to be one of the nicest and most reasonable mountain restaurants we've found. Generous portions, really high quality food and friendly staff. Plus sit outside on a sunny day (before the sun drops behind the mountains) for a stunning view.More

We were shouted at and pushed aside before we even had a chance to sit down and when we asked for service and once again were told deux minutes we decided this would not be the place to have lunch. Terrible service

Up there 1650 m of altitude, during the snow season, on the slopes of Plaine-Dranse and the ski link Châtel-Avoriaz, Nathalie will host you for your gourmet lunch break. Change of scenery in the heart of the Portes-du-Soleil, in an typical alpine village perched in the mountain with its lovely chapel against the rock. Formerly alpine chalet and popular base camp today at the beginning of "Rochassons-Express" chairlift to Avoriaz, Le Bois Prin is easily accessible by "Pierre-Longue" chairlift to all skiers beginners or experienced, but also for pedestrians contemplative. In an authentic decor of wood and stone, warmed by a traditional stove, you will enjoy the different flavors of Savoie and Val d'Abondance, or originality of a seasonal cuisine, and different Chef's suggestions. Two floors with a warm and friendly atmosphere to savor a wine or a hot chocolate after skiing and pastries for the small hollows. With nice weather, terrace facing the summit of Mont-de-Grange offers you an exceptional moment of relaxation.
