Flamishe, quiche and soup- you don't need anything else for a good lunch close to the ramparts in Montreuil. The aroma of melted cheese and warm hospitality envelops you as you walk through the door. Its all freshly cooked, well seasoned and homely. OK the service may be a little slow but we welcomed that- and it was very busy... More

Fortunately I'd found this gem on TripAdvisor a few days before visiting Montreuil and we were all so glad I booked it. We each had different soups and they were all delicious with fresh bread from the oven; followed by the scrumptious flamiches washed down by a very quaffable red wine. Then desserts of ice cream and coffees. All so... More

Found this little restaurant in the back streets of Montreuil, the food is basic but oh so fantastic. My wife and I had the Cauliflower soup for starters and then a traditional Flamische for main course washed down I am ashamed to by 1 litre of wine (hic, hic!!) The décor of the restaurant is beautiful and the service was superb,... More

Yet again we are drawn to Le Pot du Clape it's simple food, well presented and served is a delight. It's authentic with charm and we have never had a poor or disappointing meal. The soups and tarts are delicious. It's interesting to see so many locals both young and old eating here and it clearly continues to go from... More

Serves mainly soup and quiches in generous proportions. All home made and delicious. It is hugely popular for lunch and tables are closely packed together

Great place for lunch, just off ramparts, with outside terrace in good weather. Home made soups and tardiness, so reasonably priced and cosy and so French. Not to be missed

Loved this little place discovered after walking the ramparts. As already stated, it’s a cosy little venue and last week we were lucky enough to be able to sit outside in the sunshine on the terrace and enjoy a very simple lunch, with a carafe of wine. Everything is homemade daily - just delicious – well worth a visit.

Third time visiting and just as good as ever. As it is a very short detour off the motorway it is becoming my go-to restaurant when heading for a ferry at Calais. So much better than the motorway services or most of the offerings at Cite Europe. Advisable to book in advance as it always seems to be busy.

Came here based on other trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. It's a simple idea of a bowl of soup with either a salad, quiche, tart or cheeses and meats. I had the soup and cheese and meats which were all superb and flavoursome The service was attentive and welcoming well worth a visit in my opinion

Le Pot is situated on the edge of Montreuil-sur-mer and it butts up against the Ramparts that encircle the town. You can walk the full circle on top of the Ramparts and it makes a great 3km walk. Le Pot makes a great stop over venue for anyone wanting to enjoy the walk and the superb views across the town... More
