We had a beautiful Christmas dinner here and loved the food and the scenery, and the service was phenomenal. The accommodations look great as well, we would love to come stay sometime.

First of all this place has the best salads in Santa Teresa, every day the chef comes up with variations on salads, I think he should write a cook book. My boyfriend never eats salad and was eating mine out of my plate! I finally made him get his own. This was just the beginning! The rest of the menu... More

Dear Incredible, Wow, thanks so much. After just receiving a "luke warm" Trip Advisor review I was feeling SAD. Having an Italian chef, and Argentinian chef and a Venezuelan chef, I am feeling like we really have a good menu with lots of fun authentic choices. So THthank you for taking the time to send a review and knowing that... More

The food did not knock us out of our socks. Seared tuna and noodels served in a funky wooden bowl with handle was fine. The pasta with mussels and seafood did not work. However, the staff was more than accomodating and friendly.Maybe next time we come there can be a more up beat feel about the food. Pura Vida:)

Dear Diner, Sorry to read that you did not "have your socks knocked off" I must tell you, that I personally bought those wooden bowls with the handles while i was in Bali. I just loved them and found them to be so unique. We have guests begging us to buy them from us and I will not sell one.... More

Don't miss the tranquil atmosphere and peaceful ambience of Buddha Eyes Restaurant just north of Santa Teresa near Playa Hermosa. The friendly bartender Estavo makes the most delicious iced soy lattes and organic fresh fruit cocktails I have ever had anywhere in the world - even better than my own, which impressed me. Our lovely server Karla offered excellent service,... More

The grounds are incredible. We stopped in a couple of times for cocktails. The staff is great. Everyone seems very happy working there and it shows in the service and quality. Met Gregg the owner and my suspicions were verified. He Is warm and friendly and the place glows because of it. In our conversation I revealed that my wife... More

The food here was uniformly terrific, but there is definitely room for improvement. Lucky my GF had a small flashlight or we would have never been able to read the drink menu nor the bill at the end of the meal. On the other hand, the decor was elegant and very Zen. The two piece combo band that came on... More

Dear Friends, Thank you for taking the time to write this excellent well thought out review. I do want you to know that you were the victim of our just having hired a fairly new staff, and you are right, they were certainly not well trained. We have the additional burden of language. All of my employees are legal workers... More

Ditto to Kaela B's review - nourishment for Body and Soul - felt like we had our own private chef each meal, such attention was paid to every dish. Beautifully decorated, delightful, warm servers; This is definitely a 5 or even a 6 star restaurant and we are fussy about the restaurants we eat in. Seven days!! and not one... More
