Friendly service by all, warm welcome and food of another level, tuck into some lovely freshly prepared meals or dive into the buffet whatever tickles your fancy. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the surrounds.

We have returned to enjoy a sumptuous buffet. Service was outstanding and extremely friendly. Buffet venison pie was outstanding as was everything else on the buffet. As a personal preference the vegetable dishes I am so fond of could have been kept warm. Lovely ambience.More

We really enjoyed our lunch. The atmosphere makes one relax. The spicy butternut soup was warming and different. The traditional meals were well prepared and tasty. Booking is essential for lunches. We will go back again when in Montagu.

If the menu does not have enough to choose from the buffet will tempt you with a wonderful display of dishes. One can take as little or as much as one needs. Very nice atmosphere and good service.
