But it seems they charge you for the air you breathe. Yet the place is lovely the drinks are excellent and the food is superb

This restaurant is well located with a pleasant view over the harbor. We shared a salad starter with shrimp and cheese that was delicious. Our mains were a little less impressive but good nevertheless. My wife had the shrimp in a pumpkin sauce with cheese and I had the white fish with crispy kale. I'd definitely recommend the locally brewed... More

We came here after taking a hike at trilha do Italaia and it was a beautiful surprise. Facing Praia do Porto de Santo Antonio, you have a beautiful overview of the bay area. We did not try any food but we had the coldest beer. They have got outside showers! One of the best spots of the island. Wished I... More

The best thing with this restaurant is the view, especially at sunset. The restaurant did not accept credit cards due to technical reasons (our internet worked fine, so perhaps and excuse?) so with the cash we had with us we had to share an individual plate. We ordered a fish with a lemon/coconut risotto. The fish was over cooked but... More

Must go for the view. Specially the sunset. Food is pretty good. Try the tuna tartar super fresh and very tasty.

If you want to relax from a perfect spot to watch the sunset this is one of the best options in the island. The prices are fare (considering that Fernando de Noronha is the most expensive place in Brazil). The beer is very cold and there are good appetizers (I didn't have dinner there). Just be careful: the restaurant does... More

Perched above the port and beach, incredible sunsets so get there well before it fills up, at least an hour ahead. The food is excellent, we only chose seafood and found one meal for two was enough for us. It is expensive as all quality restaurants are in Fernando but if you can afford to be there it is worth... Great view , great staff, but very disappointing overpriced food. Lobster appetizer was with no flavor, meat was dry and 'shutney' was a 'wannabe' version. We had two risottos - it was clear that they were pre-cooked (took less than 5 min to get ready). Besides, Mine was served cold. Not what you expect. Neither myself or my wife finished... More

Stunning views of the harbor; best at sunset (get there by 530p). One of the best ceviches on the island.

Let's face it, Mergulhao is not a restaurant, it's a bar with a nice view of the port which happens to serve some assorted dishes. Go there in the late afternoon to have a few beers, have some finger food, and watch the sunset. Once the sun disappears in the horizon you can go to a proper restaurant for dinner.
