The chef owner is not Juan, who sadly passed away from cancer a few years ago. The chef has international experience in the U.S. and other countries. He is Argentinian, quite personable and enthusiastic about what he does. The menu choices are quite adequate and varied. We had ribs and the fish of the day - a grouper- caught fresh... More

Don't let the humble signage and stairway mislead you... We were greeted with 'Welcome to heaven!' And heavenly it is. The atmosphere is beyond lovely. Rooftop view, twinkling lights, cozy ambience. What a surprise! Sebastian and Emi took great care of us! Such an amazing chef and host. We've tried several top rated Holbox eateries, but this is our new... More

We ate there last night. The roof top atmosphere is lovely. The octopus starter was excellent and the whole fish main was memorable, two tasty sauces. We felt the prices were on the high side. And when we paid in cash, a 15% tip was deducted without consulting us. While the service was good, we thought this was rather presumptuous.

My husband and I had dinner last evening. The grilled octopus appetizer was the best we have ever had anywhere! Dinner was delicious, rooftop atmosphere was lovely and the owner and staff were welcoming and very charming. I highly recommend!

We had both shrimps with curry, and a glass of wine of the house. The shrimps were delicious! However we paid about 50 US $. That is the double of comparable restaurants in Holbox!

It was average food to rip of price. 380 peso for a mini unscaled red snapper? Whole fish? Starter was a blob of overdone cheese..... waiters are very friendly, need a new chef though...

Hello, the starter you order was a provoleta, and yes it is a cheese melted, that waht the menu say, the whole fish unscaled? is the only way to cook the fish on the grill for a tikinxic fish, if you are not happy for what you order is not a rip of price ar anything as you say, you... More

Amazing food & great service at this upstairs hideaway! Recommended to us from other traveller's & it was absolutely delicious. We had a table across from the kitchen so we were able to watch the chef in action. Highly, highly recommend!!

Hands down the best meal we have had in Central America in 6 weeks! We had the Argentinian platter to share and the cerviche octopus as a starter. Absolutely amazing and greeted by the chef! Great michaladas too! You must come here, we'll be back :)

As a chef and owner of a Restaurant, Bar and Hotel I say it's the best we had in the island! The price is fair because the quality and the cooking style is superbe! Don't miss this place.... I'm wondering why they are not on position ONE on tripadvisor... May the word of no proffessionals counts more, bad... Go on... More

On a recommendation my wife and I booked here for our Christmas dinner. While the advertised price of €120 for both of us for the 5 course meal with drinks at each course did seem very expensive and way outside our budget (€40 was generally our dinner budget on this Mexico trip) we decided to book it as a Christmas...
