El Ciruelo is a great place to take a pause and enjoy a good meal in the middle of Tepoztlán. The food and drinks are good and offer a reasonable variety, including local dishes. I particularly like the cecina, although you can get good cecina almost anywhere in Morelos. The Tepozteco (the close mountain range) is stunning and one of... More

Delicious food, impeccable and friendly service, great view of the Tepozteco ridge, good recorded and live (guitar trio) music. First spot on TA in Tepoztlan (and probably beyond) is well deserved. Parking in the neighbourhood isn't easy but the restaurant offers valet service. We walked in at about 2pm and were seated in 5 minutes; not sure if they take... More

Lovely evening dining here with a group of Americans in a wedding party. Beautiful food of the quality you would expect from a higher end restaurant in the states. Service was formal and professional. Favorite plates included an appetizer of cactus with mole sauce and also a kind of corn pudding. Flank steak was good. Good selection of wines. In... More

This restaurant has not only a beautiful view (only to see in daylight) but also an exquisite know-how to prepare food. Not to forget about the friendly stuff!

Ate here on a special occasion, coming from Mexico City, and their lima bean soon was absolutely scrumptious. I would make the trip here just for that soup. Their duck was also yummy yummy. Prices are on the high end, but it is worth it on special occasions, and the service is quite good.

An old favorite since 1993, consistency is the name of the game. Great food, good service, price is just on the high side. Mole, Tacos de Merlin (fish tacos), Quinoa salad, you can be vegan and be very happy here. There is a wine pairing with each food item. There is terrace for the smoking section that has the best...
