The bushy's bitter was just that, bitter, hoppy, just the right temperature, not gassy. The stout was much thinner than Guinness but with a beautiful brown colour and a nutty and chocolate taste. It's quite basic decor wise, deliberately so. A Victorian boozer that has kept its charm. They do food. Looked good on next table. There's a large outside... More

Called in last minute and were accomadated for a table for two, after ordering we requested if we could move to a table with a sea view, even though the table was reserved the landlord moved us as the booking wasn't for another hour and a half. This made such a difference. The food was amazing, the duck was moist... More

Sneaked in here for a late lunch. Friendly service and generous portions of pub food. Enjoyed watching the kids somersaulting into the harbour through the the window.

Great steaks and enormous fish and chips. Very tasty meal and good service. The sticky toffee pudding was great. Nice view over the Bay.

For the past 12 years or so we have regularly eaten (and drank) at The Bay in Port Erin. On a busy Sunday lunchtime the service might be considered a little slow, but given they catered for our party of eight this year, the food was freshly cooked, tasty and well presented. Very convivial bar and eating area. Prices reasonable.... More

we called in midweek unannounced, it was very quiet so no problem getting a table. We enquired about the veggie options before deciding to eat, and were told there was a sweet potato tortilla, a veggie curry and veggie lasagne. We sat down with our drinks and when we ordered, the curry wasn't actually on which was a shame as... More

The Bay Hotel is a traditional real ale pub and restaurant. We offer a great range of real ales including our 4 regular bitters brewed by the local Bushy's brewery as well as seasonal English guest ales. We also offer a wide range of whisky, wines and spirits, including a lovely range of popular rums. We serve homemade, delicious food using mainly local produce. It is served 7 days a week with your choice of eating in the restaurant part with a lovely table service or in the bar side. There's also the outside decking seating area for the warm months. We are a small business and we always aim to please and welcome our customers as that is our main priority. We are dog friendly too, so for those with a well behaved four legged friend, you are more than welcome to visit our bar area, whether it is for a great local pint of bitter or just a cup of coffee, the choice is yours.
