Great place, great food, great location. All the people working there very good, exept for the Young waitress with short hair that must impprove. She has done Friends eating next to me and It was impossible just to get some ice for a Coca-Cola. Anyway, excellent place fully recommended. The burrata pizza was a 12 over 10.

I went there already 2 times since now i work near Arona. The reputation of the pleace is good but a bit too high. Inside is dark and table are closer than in Paris. The food is ok but nothing special. Also pizza is fine but there is a lor of space to di better. As general indication i would... More

We found this on TripAdvisor and dropped in for a late afternoon lunch. As usual for Italy, we found the meal to be very good. My husband had the pasta with lamb ragu and me one of the pizzas. Both easily shared. Service good. While I doubt we'll be back to the area, would definitely return if we had the... More

I went for dinner for a reunion with friends. Two of us were late, but we weren't expecting the staff to start asking very insistently when we would all be there, while we were still standing out of the door. Once seated, they rushed us for the whole dinner - and did not even ask for desert - so that... More

Selected this restaurant as it appeared popular and had a view across the adjacent street to the lake. Starters were a mixture of seafood, and all were good quality. Mains of seafood and pizza followed which again were excellent. Overall this was a good restaurant when one felt we had good traditional quality at a sensible price. We will return,

Aldo is the most popular place in town for pizza, why? Quality, variety and price! Be ready to queue a bit also if you booked a table but it really worth the effort.

On the upside: very friendly staff. Tried their best to communicate with us, despite a pretty big language barrier. On the downside: the actual food. My wife ordered a pizza with seafood; I ordered one with bacon. While my pizza was ok (though not especially great), I had a very different idea about "bacon" than the cook does, as he... More
