We went prior to an opera visit, so were keen to finish by 830pm for the ten minute walk to the opera. The food was excellent, I had lasagne then the duck, both were exquisite.

We were told it was the best restaurant in town but we found it expensive and not really that great. My risotto was dry, all the secondi were quite pricey. The service was eeeextraaa sloooooooow and the waiter laughing at us when we said we did not want anything else but just the bill. Do not go

Da Rosa is a must for any travellers to Macerata province of Marche region. A small place, tuked down a small Vicolo in the Centro Storico of Macerata, the menu combines historic dishes, wonderful Primis and some incredible meats that include a wide range of game. Before our primi piatti we were served a bouche amuse of carpaccio of smoked... More

A cosy place in the heart of Macerata. Typical Italian family ran restaurant with great choice of food and local wines. We were in Macerata for two days and both evenings we went for a meal in Da Rosa. Restaurant was full of locals which (at least in my standards) always means that it's very good.

This place was such a nice unexpected experience. I fall in love with this place, and thought i will eat my fingers there. Thank you for owners, that such a place exists. This is my full first hand experience about this place with pictures and video. https://youtu.be/nlyJPwluGdE

No more to be said. Delicious. Slightly dodgy service from eager young waiter and cloudy wine glass appeared then disappeared swiftly when we pointed it out otherwise it would be 5*

This restaurant is fine for a meal if you don't really feel like something fancy. It's got good service, a full menu, and the food is OK. Good enough to bring us back twice.

The food was lovely and tipically Italian. The friendlyness seems to be especially reserved for Italian customers. Service was correct and quick, but not very friendly. They were not fond of children!
