This is a lovely, unpretentious family owned restaurant. Mother/daughter handle the cooking and serving with professionalism & an engaging smile. Menu was diverse & so delicious that I returned three days in a row. Also recommended it to everyone else I met during my trip to the Luberon. Le Galoubet is a gem. Don't miss it.

We are spending two weeks in Menerbes and have eaten at Le Galoubet twice. On our first visit, I had the Daube de Boeuf and my husband had the Carpaccio de Boeuf. He really didn't know what he was ordering, but enjoyed his meal and the accompanying potatoes. The Daube was so delicious that we returned and both ordered it.... More

There's nothing to say more. Food is poor, atmosphere is average, service is average. They're next door if the Veranda.

We were delighted to find this little gem. Restaurant has pretty outside terrace opposite but we opted for inside as a little chilly. Situated in centre of the village and very good value. Cost 151 euros for 4 including wine. Food was delicious,

There was nothing wrong with this meal, it just wasn't memorable. We spend a lovely summer evening over food and wine and had a great time. The seating area is opposite the restaurant itself but is really central at the heart of Menerbes. The meal was also very cheap at 180 euros for four people all having three courses and... More

Menerbes is a beautiful place ! A "must see" place if you explore the Provence. We found the "La Galoubet" coincidentally while we walked through Menerbes... We definitely can recommend that place: #nice #deliscious #friedly #tasty #perfect setting We love Provence!

As other reviewers have noted, this is a reasonably priced, traditional restaurant. The proprietors are friendly, service was swift, and the food very enjoyable (we chose boeuf tartare from a varied menu, which boasts a good range of salads and provencale dishes). We went for lunch and sat in the charming, shady courtyard. Well worth a visit.

We happened across this small restaurant and were drawn into its shady, cool terrace. For a touristy village, it was a beautiful surprise to find such an authentic Provencal offering. The blackboard menu was interesting and beautifully cooked: veal casserole, a wonderfully eggy tomato quiche, fresh and fabulous beef carpacchio, a 'surf n turf' of duck and salmon. Highly recommended.

Food is simple but very good, 100% home made, even desserts. They can adapt their menu in a gluten-free one if needed. I was hesitating between 4 and 5 stars but went for 4.... the service is friendly but definitely too long.
