We have eaten st both Moon Cafés in Dumaguete. Good staff and usually not too long of a wait. Cold beer and good menu.

This place is highly popular for the college crowd. The service is fantastic and quite attentive. My husband and I just did not like the food or the atmosphere as much as other restaurants and we have frequented, not our style.

I would grade the cafe higher for it's food quality'and choice but for its overall appearance, more akin to a fast food place. The cafe was full on arrival, only 1 table available, this was quickly cleaned. Ordered drinks, a pitcher of alcohol with fruit juice, arrived after a prompt and was excellent as were the 4 separate main course... More

This is a franchise operation and has all the pluses (consistency, popular menu, tried and true recipes) and minuses (no innovation, caterating to the center, familiar, no big surprises, the "a good, big feed") of the market. For me, the negatives outweigh the positives. But for many others the reverse is true.

We walked past moon cafe and smelled good food so we had to come in to see for ourself. We are very glad we did. The food was good, prices okay but we did not like how they serve one person before the other instead of at the same time.

The service here is very satisfactory. i go there for the steak which is very good because there are not many places in the Philippines outside of Manila that can serve a piece of beef correctly. I have gone back many times for this one meal. My wife used to order the ribs but it seems they have changed the... More

What a nice little restaurant, nice atmosphere. Food was very good, being an Aussie I was in need of a steak, although my rib eye cut wasn't that great and unevenly cooked, a bit of a let down. My partner had a Mignon, it was mouthwatering, I wish I ordered that too. The cheese stuffed deep fried chilli was yummy,... More

I had huge expectation because of the reviews i have read here in trip advisor. I am not a picky eater however i just couldnt appreciate it, probably the food i ordered was not good enough. I have ordered moon cafe's pasta , it isn't something i would order the next time around, and also the rib. Yes it falls... More

This cosy place is close to Sulliman University and seems to be very popular amongst the students. I can understand why. They have a diverse menu from typical Philipino dishes to Mexican specialties. All very nice and very cheap. Staff is, to Philippine standards, extremely efficient. Start with the chimichanga and make your way through the menu. You'll love it.

Thank Roel B
