Jo's garners the most recommendation of where to enjoy chicken inato when in Dumaguete. Served with a cup of steamed rice and atsara (pickled green papaya), the skewed, flavored and then grilled quarter chicken meal costs 105 Pesos when ordered upstairs; dining at the ground level costs less perhaps because it's not air conditioned. Jo's inato also comes with patis... More

When I was in Dumaguete recently, I told my friends that we have to eat at Jo's Chicken Inato since this is its birthplace. Its all over Visayas but not in Manila. And lo and behold, the taste of the chicken inasal is exactly the same as other Jo's Inato branches in the Visayas.

Coming here every so often because of their tasty and very affordable barbecued grilled chicken, my husband and myself always have that feeling of getting our moneys worth. Very affordable cost of their food, good service from their staff and nice ambiance.

Try their authentic chicken inato which starts from Php 97. Their shakes are good too! Staff is very accommodating and knows their menu well. The only thing I don't like is that the whole place is not air-conditioned. I ate twice here in my 3-day visit.

Chicken's white meat isn't savory. But their barbeque is good and cheap. For the price of 40Php you already get to eat 2 sticks of Pork BBq. I've read a few blogs that when you visit Dumaguete City, Jo's inato is a must try and I'm quiet not satisfied. I don't know but maybe because I expected too much. I... More

This place is famous for it's native bbq chicken. Very simple recipe. A bowl of rice, pickles and a native chicken breast or legally, according to your personal taste. Only 105 pesos but very tasty chuck!

Food and price is ok. Improve service and customer relations of staff. Too crowded with tables and chairs. Overall, just okay.

When this store was in their hay days, chicken barbecue of theirs was so called the delicious good talk of the town. But when times has past, it became dehydrated and yes the prices went up too. The sad thing is of you eat at their air conditionedrooms there is an additional charge for their foods. If you want to... More
