There comes a where rare situation for reviewer when he /she writes a review on behalf of a family member. Same is happening with me, where my 55 years+ old parents stayed at the hotel for their anniversary celebrations, and I am writing on their...behalf. Right from the pick up, from the railway station to the drop off, their association with the hotel was commendable. The location of the hotel is its biggest plus point where the access to the holy Ganges is very easy. The rooms were very clean with a prompt service, food was extremely good with low on spices, and hospitality was beyond the words. The Bhajan sandhayas makes the whole environment highly serene and calm. My mother had stomach upset and as per her every staff member ensured that she was in the best of her health. As per my parents # Ganga Lahari is a superb place to stay with an extraordinary human touch which is rare to find in today's world. God bless the whole staff# Kudos to whole team of Mr. Pankaj Maithani with a special mention of Ms. Raveena. Thank you for making my parents' stay memorable!More

Once you have plotted your route to the hotel, you will travel up a beautiful spiral stair case, 1st floor delivers the reception. 2nd floor delivers you the 💎! But you have to hit the end of the corridor! What gets your sense going is...the elegantly simple decor in this preserved historical wonder. You will instantly appreciate the cleanliness and the awesomeness of the set-back cavern that will deliver a delightfully delicious yet simple menu that could exceed the taste expectations of the most seasoned restraint-goers. A la carte? My senses were drawn to the Spectacular thali...perfect choice for you if you don’t know what to choose or you know what you want and a little bit of everything. Coupled with a mixed bread basket....the ensuing flavours were like fireworks on my tongue. A good mix of flavours yet nourishingly nutritious. Don’t expect to pay side street cart prices. This is as gourmet as you can expect. A must try!More

Location of the hotel is excellent but amenities do not match the price as it is very expensive. Although the breakfast served was good and vegetarian friendly but other facilities like......... when we asked for the Iron they told us to wait for 20 minutes...but we didn't get till check out.More

I really like this place, and they try hard to accommodate special needs. The food is good and freshly prepared. This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Haridwar, though I have to admit that I like Sattvik restaurant a little better.

The location of this restaurant is amazing. You can watch the river and the crowds below. Food was decent but slightly expensive buffet. They did offer the option to do Ala-carte. The evening live bhajan was a great experience

Everything was perfect, fresh vegetables, well cooked dal, great taste. Perfect for kids and infants, as not much salt and chilli.
