Mohan ji puri wale is at a great location and a well-known place for many years. When visiting Har ki Puri, one can easily locate or ask any Local person they will guide you. The place is always crowded, you might have to stand and eat at the tables laid outside. A plate of 4 puris costs INR 80. Lassi & Gulab jamuns are good. Good for the one-time feel of Haridwar's traditional street food. People who are diet conscious should avoid this place. Overall a great deal with equally great food

Easy to locate - ask anyone at Har Ki Pauri & they will guide you.
Always crowded, you have to stand and eat at the tables laid outside. Often you have to jostle and pay quickly & collect the piping hot stuff. A plate of 4 puris costs INR 80. Lassi & Gulabjamuns are good. Good for one time feel of Haridwar's traditional street food. Not meant for the calorie conscious !
If you want to sit down and have a simple vegetarian meal, there are a few good eating places next to Mohan Ji's shop where you can order Tandoori Rotis / Rice / Daal/ Subzis.

I visited Mohan puri wale restaurant as I wanted to sit and enjoy puri. They have other shop at har ki pauri where you can taste their puris at Rs. 80 per plate, In restaurant price is Rs. 130 per plate.. It's worth the price. Four puris with aaloo ki sabzi, chole, sitaphal and curd... It was good for breakfast...

We have Puri, Choley and Sitaphal ki Subzi @80/- per plate. They serve the food on big leaves, not in plates. Amazing spicy taste. Have Suji ka Halwa after Puries. It is a must eat after visiting Har ki Pauri. Same taste years after years.

This restaurant recommended by relatives, living in the area. So, went in for lunch and we weren’t disappointed. Nice curries with peppy Indian spices. Thali (platter) comes with all you can eat curries but pay for extra poories (bread). Yogurt lassi was really great. Place was clean and the staff was courteous.

I visited this place with my friend venu mama. We tasted poori, allu sabji....halwa. lassi....Puri was taste and allloo subji also good. But limited seating options. If you want sit & eat you must wait for 40 mts to one hour. But worthy for waiting.

Mohan Ji Puri Wale, located in the iconic Har Ki Pauri area, beckons with the promise of traditional Indian breakfast - puri sabji, all served on leaves. While the location and the concept are enticing, the actual experience left a bit to be desired.
We decided to sample a classic Indian breakfast: poori sabji. The pooris and allu sabji (potato curry) failed to make a strong impression. The flavors were quite average.

It's very famous and old My father, who is 65, remembers this since his heyday.... after Ganga Snan and Puja, one must have Puri & Halwa from here.
Puri Sabhi- 100 for 4 Pieces of Puri
Halwa - 30/
One plate is enough for breakfast ( I did not finish it alone though), and Halwa is too good.
It is a small establishment, with no eating facility, so you have to eat standing outside. that's problematic...but popular food across India- it's the same fashion.

The oil they used was too black and looks like over used . Taste was as normal as any other restaurants will serve you . Halwa was good taste . Samosa and puri things were hot and fresh as the crowd builds and grabs every pieces and everything but the quality of oil
etc has to be taken care of .

While searching for best eating joints I got this name Mohan ji Pueiwale abdxspecially went there to eat .
The puri & bhaji. Bhaji was just tasteless and then I ordered kachori &:Chole these were also eaqully bad. Choles were tasteless, no salt, no khatai.
Just a hype at least I will not suggest anyone to go and eat there. Avoid it.

Two more with same name have restaurants on both corners of har ki podi .
But I preferred the old one , which is said to have a better quality .
Food quality is good. This time I was on a working day , so there was not much rush . Rates are average .
It has thali system as well as plate system of food .

Undoubtedly very good food. But I felt overhyped due to the huge rush. They are famous but they don't bother to increase the customer experience. You need to fight in crowd to get your food. Since such a old place should do something.

Great location & a well known place since many many years. However, their quality has really gone down
Wonder why they don't make any efforts to keep the area around the shop clean... it’s FILTHY
It used to be a must visit place once but should be given a pass now.

The food specially Puri thali was very bad, all family members who had the food are not feeling well. Puri was fried in very bad oil and poor quality
