This Cozy restaurant has left the best impression! Hospitable host , delicious dishes, beautiful presentation and most importantly food is at very affordable prices. I have been there with my family for a dinner now like couple of times. I recommend to everyone. I would like to come back here again and again.

We went here for dinner on Sunday and were amazed by this terrace restaurant in Hotel Ganga Lahari. It is like a hidden gem in Haridwar. The location is the best that one can think of in Haridwar, overlooking river Ganga at the beginning of Har ki Paudhi. The menu had a variety of vegetarian options and all sounded very different and the ones that we ordered tasted delicious too. There was live music and both the singers and guitarists were really good, singing both old and new Bollywood songs. We will definitely come back and will highly recommend visiting this restaurant. The hotel incharge and manager, Krishna ji and the restaurant manager Rajesh ji and Udhveer were very helpful. We hope that very soon all the options on the menu card will be available for serving to the guests.

What an amazing afternoon! We reached Hotel Ganga Lahari after braving the huge crowds of Haridwar, and the hospitality blew us away. Inspite of arriving at 3.10 pm when lunch closes at 3 pm, Reataurant In-Charge Mr Pradeep was warm and welcoming. The staff, led by Kailash and supported by Shakti, ensured that we had a lovely lunch. Each dish was well done be it the Pesto Pizza, Pasta in Pink Sauce, Beetroot Tikki, Palak Patta Chaat and Brownies with Ice Cream. The follow-up was a thoroughly enjoyable round of tea on the rooftop in weather that was incredible. Great service, yummy food and welcoming decor in the heart of the city - I have no hesitation in saying that this restaurant is a much visit in happening Haridwar!

The restaurant is located in Hotel Ganga Lahiri at Har Ki Pauri. Given its popularity, it tends to be crowded at all times. The restaurant is situated on the hotel's terrace, providing a unique dining experience.
When you arrive, the guard at the entrance may inform you that the restaurant is full and that the waiting time is approximately 30 minutes. However, you can request that one person from your party go and check the availability. Surprisingly, you might receive a call from your person within two minutes informing you that a table is vacant.
The restaurant is divided into two sections: one covered with glass and the other open-air. From both sections, you can enjoy views of Har Ki Pauri and the Ganges. The menu is limited and on the expensive side, with most items offered as combos, and they are often hesitant to make alterations to these combos. Despite this, the food is nice and the ambiance is excellent.

The experience at the patio was beyond wonderful
It begins with the elegantly crafted menu that invites you on a culinary journey throughout the Ganga and continues with a very attentive staff. Kailash was our waiter, he was very sweet making sure we had the most delicious and fulfilling experience.
The food is the best we had on our trip throughout India. The Himalayan Thali is a must!

This place is a must visit for dinner in Haridwar as they not only have amazing food but beautiful ambience too. The staff is very cordial especially Pradeep who took care of every little aspect during the dinner. The view of the Ganges is mesmerizing from the rooftop of the restaurant. I shall visit again.

It is the best place to eat in Haridwar, clean and scenic with rooftop views. I came here to eat almost every day. The breakfast buffet is very good. Very friendly staff, Surej and another tall man were the primary servers and were very nice. All food came without onion garlic and did not take too long.

I came here based on good reviews and now excited to write one myself.
Awesome view, lovely ambience, polite staff (Suraj and Yogesh ji) and most important of all delicious food. Price is ofcourse inline with this.
So, if you are fine to pay some extra bucks (compared to the nearby eateries) I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
It's on the 3rd floor (with AC room as well as open air options) of Hotel Ganga Lahari.
By the way, I had 'Matar bedmi poori with aloo ki sabzi'.. yummm 😋😋

It’s a rare gem in Haridwar. We sat in an enchanting atmosphere with ever attentive servers attending to us. We had some sumptuous momos soup and Khousey soup and on top of that some wok fried noodles, we had it all. It was a cold evening so we had the warmth of some “angeethi” from one side a standing heater from another side. The hotel also looks great, it’s a pity that we didn’t stay here.

Suraj served us and was incredibly helpful explaining what dishes were what. The food came quickly and we greatly enjoyed the food. Tasty and full rounded! The views from the table were simply heavenly, right on the ganga river the view included a bridge and lots of people enjoying the day. Very quiet and soft music if that’s what you like!

Visited as a guest in the Patio restaurant for dinner, We were entertaining friends from Mumbai, and enjoyed our Ganga side table. We chose to stay outdoors - to enjoy the fresh air and nature😊. I just want to say that, in addition to a really nice and decent meal at the affordable price, we had a delightful personality Mr.Pradip, he had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. he recognized that we wanted time to visit and did not rush us. he and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed. What a lovely food, service and atmosphere, they all just exceeded our expectations.would definitely recommend this to all my friends and family. Kudos!

One of my most favorite hotels in India. I have been visiting this establishment regularly for five years. Its scenic view of the Ganges is rejuvenating. It offers a very comfortable stay. The hotel’s restaurant is the cherry on top, with a great ambiance and an open area providing an overview of the Ganges. The food is absolutely delicious, with special culinary delights designed for the guests. Mr. Pradeep and his team are proficient in serving their guests. The overall experience is exquisite. I will always keep coming back.

It’s the best roof top Restaurent in India. This was my second visit. Their thali is so delicious and n dessert orange cake is a must try. Pradeep took special care and gave full attention to us. Sooraj’s knowledge about the food menu is very helpful in deciding what to eat from their vast menu. Will visit again for sure. Happy to know it’s origin and connection with Gardhwal and Tihari. That’s my husband’s native place. 🌸😊👏

Enjoying a dinner with a riverside view adds an extra dimension to the dining experience. Imagine savoring freshly caught food while gazing out at the vast expanse of the river, the salty breeze enhancing every bite.
