Took my boyfriend to this cinema on his birthday during our stay in Wanaka. The staff were very friendly and seemed to really enjoy their work. We got a meal before the movie (Dr Strange), my boyfriend loved his vegetarian dish and I loved my meatlovers pizza (strange contrast I know). We got cookies before the movie and mine was... More

We'd been reccomended a trip here by friends and weren't disappointed! The staff were really friendly, we went to see a pretty average film but it was all about the experience :) we nabbed a sofa which was pretty comfy and they even did a vegan cookie for me in the intermission which was really good. A good evening entertainment... More

An absolute must do in Wanaka. Great food, cosy seats, THE COOKIES. Staff are lovely and super accommodating, love the mid-movie chats while waiting for everyone to get back to their seats.

This is a comfy movie house mixed with a restaurant and snack bar. The cinema runs a repertory schedule with recent and classic films. They change frequently, so there often something new to see. You can order food and drinks to be brought to you in the theater, or you can eat in the lounge area before or after the... More

Our friends had raved about this place (and its ice cream and cookies) so we had to check it out. My son had just broken his leg skiing so this was one of our few remaining holiday entertainment options! The staff were just lovely and let us in first via the disabled access so he could get a seat in... More

A cosey and quirky cinema probably unlike any other cinema you've been to. Great homemade cookies and icecream and a range of strange things to sit on/in, including half cut open cars.

Classic and funky cinema. Loved the couches and the the old cars. And a great idea to order food before the movie and grab it at intermission ( yes intermission). So nice to indulge in some food and wine thru the second half of the film
