You have to make these restaurant into your list. They have the most amazing seafood dishes you can imagine and the prices are very wonderful. I made it after they close the kitchen and because I came from the states, A wonderful gentleman named "Potti" was so kind to open the kitchen for us and made us fresh stuffed arepas... More

This is not a fancy restaurant so don't expect too much, it's an eatery where local people stop by for a bite and a beer. We enjoyed our arepas, dumplings and mofongo.

Extremely Dirty! Tables are so dirt but, that white table are gray and we wipe with hand wipes and it come extremely dirt and the table start to get white. Even that the appetizer that we order was good. But we decide to go other place anyway. That is unacceptable event for that type of outdoor kiosk/restaurant.

We happen to be in Fajardo when Puerto Rico was set in a danger status, due to hurricane Erika. We drove for hours looking for a place to eat and nothing was open. We started to wander around and stumbled upon El Racar. This place definitely was a local hot spot, which is what you want to look for. The... More

Great seafood in a local Fajardo fishermans area. Sit down relax, have a few drinks, and enjoy the scenery. Service is good and fast.

This place is not much to look at but it has great food at a great price. We had a party of 24, the locals suggested it and you will love the food.

I went to this place based off of reviews on TripAdvisor. I was highly disappointed. First, you're seated outdoors and it smells awful out there by the bio bay. It smells like sewer water. Staff is not friendly. I ordered the shrimp with garlic and my fiancé ordered the chicken mofongo. The shrimp was bland and so was the mofongo.... More

Went here based on reviews, so glad we did! It looks like a run-down little shack of a restaurant but the food was great. My husband had the red snapper and loved it and the kids and I couldn't get enough of their empanadas! Definitely worth a try for authentic Puerto Rican food!

Racar seafood was within walking distance to where we were staying in the area and recommended by the some locals. We ate there on a Friday night and it was quite busy with people having dinner in the open air dining room and with the take out window up front. Karaoke was also going on in the next room and...
