Visited La Grotta the 8th of August. The worst experiences on Sardinia. The food was terrible and completely overpriced. We were waiting one hour for food to be served. Personnel was rude and refused to speak English. Worst of all; they just randomly add food...More
We visited last week. We ordered the house speciality, langoustine tomatoes and onions. The price is displayed on the menu per gramme. We were shown the langoustine before it was cooked for 4 of us. We had no idea of the weight. Should we have...More
We didn't read TripAdvisor before going here, but perhaps we should. By far the most expensive place around here, but good eating, friendly service and nice atmosphere. Watch out for the added items on the bill and the additional 15% on top and the cost...More

Unfortunately we didn't read tripadvisor before to go to La Grotta. Now i can confirm most of the comments. Service is very good, food as well. But it is too expensive, especially compared to other restaurants around here. First of all i didn't like the...More
This restaurant is centrally located in La Maddalena and is probably one of the oldest in town. The location is super and it is pleasant to sit outside for dinner. While being in La Maddalena we decided to go for dinner. Nice table for two...More
