Olafsvik is a small town located on the northern lip of the Snaefellsnes peninsula. We were on a drive by yourself trip along this scenic and sometimes desolate terrain. So finding this nice bakery with good cakes and rolls was a pleasant surprise for us. We had coffee and some rolls and stocked up on a pie for later.

The little independent bakery is located on Olafsvik's main road and there's free parking directly outside of it. It's a great place to get a coffee and cake before (or after) a morning's whale watching trip which departs from Olafsvik. However, it only has three small tables.

Good coffee (stronger than the usual hotel coffee). Nice selection of pastries - had espresso there. Nice place for a rest and snack.

Had a quick stopover here on a tour and it was great! Quick and prompt coffee making and they had a good selection of bakery sweets. I had something that had icing sugar on the outside and it was so fresh and fluffy. Delicious!

Local bakery with 3 tables and some chairs. Had coffee, hot chocolate and something sweet there. Quality is what you expect from a bakery, nothing special. The girl at the counter was not really interested in her customers.

My wife and I ate our weight in bread across Iceland. We spent a few days in Snaefelsnes Peninsula and stumbled across this gem on the way into the national park. It afforded more than enough sweet baked snacks for the day.

This is a tiny little place in a strip of storefronts in town. A nice selection of pastries and breads. Two or three little table to sit.

Delicious sandwiches and drinks. A nice middle spot between Grundarfjordur and Snaefellsjokul. There are some cute shops and beautiful waterfalls nearby also. Well worth the visit to this town, and to this bakery.

Great place for some warming coffee and light snack after whale watching trip. Also great to get some decent bread.
