We walked down a long, muddy road looking for a beach, and stumbled onto Mama Lola's. It was closed and pretty run down. Maybe in the high season it opens - ? But I would doubt it.

From what I can see and what I am told, Mama Lola hasn't been here to cook or anything else for about 3 years and is not scheduled to return at any time in the foreseeable future. No food since it was almost sold last summer. Maybe a beer or soda. Furniture was leaving the place when we walked by.... More

We stayed at mama Lola's for a week, yes the place is rustic, but the staff made us feel like family and we felt totally safe there. The food was excellent, pizza from scratch, empanadas, lobster and fish we had an opportunity to try it all. Mama was cooking and cooking well!,

A beautiful location ruined by the staff. This at one time is reported to have been a good place to go, but lack of buisness there shows in the run down condition and the staff seem to be running this place into the ground.

The couple that run this hotel stole $245 from me. Someone was in my room the first night there and they refused to return the money I gave them for my stay. It is used by locals to hide out when they don´t want people to know what the are up to.

This lady knows how to cook. Love her bubbly personality. I miss her! We ate her place three times just to see her again! It's a bit off the beaten path but the locals know it, so don't worry! The lobster is unbelievable.

It was absolutely delicous! Not only the lobster, we spend five days at Mama Lola. And it is a very familiar atmosphere. I enjoyed the generous place to read, relax, for walking at the beatiful sandy beach and hanging around in a hammock, with a bottle beer e.g. There is also a wonderful panorama view on the rooftop :-) The...
