We went for a Valentine's Dinner and were very happily surprised. The tables had been beautifully decorated with flowers and rose petals in heart shapes. There was a very yummy Valentines Dinner Special but we stuck to the normal menu, as we know it well and knew what we wanted to eat. Everything was good - delicious and good sized... More

Had a very pleasant evening here recently. Delicious food, eaten at the bar for convenience (football on tv) Very attentive barstaff/waitstaff. Lovely, interesting premises. Well worth a visit.

A friendly team run this nice hotel amid the bush just outside Nanyuki, along the road from the British army base (officers seem to come along to use the pool). The food's not bad, the rooms are simple but fine and if it wasn't for the dogs which seem to start barking at 5am you'd get a great night's sleep.

I stayed three times at Kongoni camp, twice for the Lewa marathon and last time befre travelling on to Loisaba conservancy. Nice cosy rooms, good value for money and a very nice restaurant with friendly staff. From here you can access a large number of conservancies or the Mount Kenya national park easily and Nairobi is just three hours away... More

Food is excellent so is their fully stocked bar with any drink you can dream off. The accommodation however is dated and old fashioned.

One of the best hotels for family and the food is not only one of the best in Kenya (for western food) that tastes exactly the way it should but served by staff that are there for you.

Went for a 3hr pamper session with my sister, who is over for the holidays, at the salon for 8,000 ksh per person (full body brush, body scrub, seaweed mask, full body massage followed by a fantastic facial) and topped off by a sushi lunch which was really tasty although we over ordered so ended up take some home for... Have been a few times - dinner and the tepanyaki grill. Service can be slow (depending on how busy they are) however the food is always very good. The tepanyaki was very nice but perhaps a bit too much seafood for my liking. The samosas and pork ribs are tasty! Good beer selection too.

I stop here often when in nanyuki. The food is reliably good, fairly simple menu but stick to the basics and you won't be disappointed. Always a bit of a buzz about the place as its popular. I have never stayed here but for supper its good.

The restaurant is well thought out and set amid a small treed area. It is naturally finished and tends to blend into the surrounding environment. With a variety of dining areas inside, outside and on the terrace the customer is spoiled for choice. The meals are al a carte and take about 15 minutes to prepare but bread rolls are... More
