The restaurant is on main road with limited parking. Place is good with neat and clean washrooms.
Price wise food items are costly but quantity wise a curry dish would serve 2 comfortably. We ordered Palak paneer, dal makhani, kadhi, Lassi with some bread and...rice. Except Palak paneer all dishes were bland and tasteless. One can find better tasting dal makhani and kadhi at a local restaurant.
Service wise there was no issue and we were served quickly.
Wouldn't recommend based on food taste.More
Had a stopover lunch on way to Manali .
Good spacious properly with plenty of open spaces and outdoor seatings .
Myriad of food choices including a CCD, McDonald’s and Burger King . The family restaurant has plush interiors .
But you don’t stop...on a Punjab highway for all that …
It’s the chana kullcha, samosas , dahi Bhalla and the special chai which they serve . The preparation was fresh , crispy and very punjabi 😊.
Highly recommended outdoor chaat stall .
Washrooms are spotless …More
Seriously think of improvement in your food quality as it was nowhere near the authentic punjabi taste.
Amritsari kulchas were not at all like taste of amritsar. They were made of very thin structure and not cooked well. Gobi/ Aloo pranthas were also not like...tandoori pranthas as served in other Haveli and punjabi outlets.
Masala tea was much below the quality and chhachh lassi was okay as it seemed to be of Verka with masala mixed.
They need to improve upon the cleanliness very necessary especially of the floors and stairs.
Only grace is that the service boy was very polite and carried on the orders up to the extent in his control.
The management should and must give attention to my suggestion as I am a Senior having world wide experience of travels.
Worst food ever had in my life!!!! In the name of punjabi recipies they serve anything. I ordered Paneer Butter masala and they served me Kadahi paneer and said it is real punjabi taste and I was so dissapointed that I thought if this is...the real taste of punjab then I would rather quit eating punjabi food. I am very very much dissapointed with their service.More
i being a foodie love to try food but was literally disappointed , awful food , not upto the mark , in Haveli we expect some great food , this place is not worth going. We had veg pakora which were missing most of per...menu, the worst thing was the whole sarson saag wasn’t saag it was more of onion Saag. The whole saag was of onions and when I discussed the same with manger i had to tell him please watch you tube and see recipes. Another blunder makki di roti was not of maize it was wheat bread with powder.
Never ever expected such drastic and such cold and unapologetic response from Haveli.More
On the Way to Shimla from Chandigarh, this is a very good restaurant to stop for Tea / Coffee, snacks or full dinner, we had some lovely cuisines here, their Sarson ka Saag and Makke di roti is amazing and authentic,
The space is large...and at various levels, they also sell some local sweets, al together don't miss it for the food and the ambience on the way or coming back from Shimla.More
We were 4 of us on the way back from Mashobra to Delhi.
We ordered for :
Kali Mirch Chicken Tikka
Dal Fry (Less Tadka)
Mutton Rogan Josh
+ couple of Butter Milk and Tea
Very Good Quality and Service.
On our way to Shimla we were looking to have a quick bite,
And it was lunch hours so we stopped at Haveli, Dharampur,
The Restaurant is a regular with us as it’s a clean and hygienic place with heritage interiors and also it’s a...large place with multiple seating levels and clean toilets,
We ordered the punjabi Favourite of Makai di Roti and Sarson da Saag and it came in piping hot with dollops of butter,
It was delicious, we also ordered a veg Chow-mien and were not expecting it to be so good, it was most probably one of our best Chow - Mien,
Best place to have food on the way to Shimla, especially if u are travelling with family and kids.More
