We stop here for groceries and almost always have something to eat at the little restaurant area inside. I am amazed by how nice the ladies are as they let you go select exactly what you want on your subs or in your salads. This place is so clean and staff are constantly replacing the stock. I usually love baked goods, but some of them are disappointing. You have to try them all to decide what you like best because they do not offer samples of such. On Sat. mornings, they do put out a few cheeses to taste to encourage purchasing in that Dept. The meats are really good quality !!!!! and Mike is an excellent butcher! (I will review other depts. in future.)

Great store with many interesting and unusual items. Did not try cafe which is mainly a soup, sub and salad shop. Prices on most things are about the same or a little higher than other markets, but locally grown produce is mostly top quality. Great variety of cheeses at lower than average prices. Some are real bargains. I can confirm that staff does NOT wear masks and neither do 80% of customers.

A great place to shop if you are vacationing in the area with good meals to go. If you like visiting grocery shops that have different items this store is worthwhile. We bought several Gluten Free items that we've never seen before, including a GF Low Sodium Chicken Base for soups/stews and some very good GF Double Yolk Egg Noodles, and other items.

Great supermarket with unique twist. Their meats are out of this world. Their pork, beef & poultry are fresh and butchered on the premises. Has all competing stores beat for quality and pricing of meats. Unique Mennonite and Amish foods including Scrapple, Shoo Fly Pie, Jams and preserves. Great assortment of local cheeses and cold cuts. Charming staff of Mennonite women and girls. Fresh produce always is great. We are fortunate to live only 5 miles away and we shop there weekly.

As someone else commented in December 2021, the employees at this store are not masked. We went today, in the middle of the week, knowing that we would make a quick trip in and out, and to avoid the crowds this place tends to get on weekends. Most customers we saw were also masked, but not all. This store has a decent selection of freshly baked pastries. They also have a large variety of pickled canned goods, jams & jellies, bulk spices, bulk baking supplies, bulk candies, freshly made peanut butter, grocery store items of eggs, milk, meats, fresh fruit and vegetables, a large deli, pre-packaged salads & soups, coffee, and crafty gift items. There is also an in-house café that we have yet to try. The employees we encountered were friendly and efficient.

We stopped here to grab subs when we went to Buttermilk Falls and Taughannock Falls State Park for the day. Great selection and prices and very good. We got lots of stuff to eat while we were staying at Owasco Lake for 2 weeks and a bunch of jams, jellies and sauces to take home. If I lived nearby, I would come here at least once a month.

This facility is owned and operated by the Mennonite Community in the area. Very well maintained, with a variety of items. Meats, cheeses and grocery items. Many local jarred condiments, candies and baked goods. There is a small cafe inside the store that serves food. There are also hand made crafts such as tables, chairs and garden ornaments. I could go on, but you need to experience it yourself if in the area. We were staying nearby and were recommended to visit. We were told visitors drive from hours away in the area to visit this establishment. We enjoyed our visit. Ample parking onsite. Recommended.

There’s a review claiming this store is a super spreader forCovid. That Mennonites don’t get vaccinated. Let’s just say sweeping generalizations about any group is a dangerous thing. Mennonites do use medical care and get vaccinated. Some mennonites even go to medical school. Prejudice is so hard to fight. When I visited Sauders the last time (and I go often) employees were wearing masks and gloves in the lunch room, bakery and deli areas. Many many shoppers were not wearing masks even though it’s suggested. These are difficult times for everyone. Let’s keep our prejudice in our pockets and use our fear as energy to make things better for everyone.

This store has everything, including fresh baked goods, meats, homemade jams, and cheese. We bought a loaf of honey oatmeal bread which he had some of for breakfast the next morning, along with a jar of strawberry-thubarb jam. Delicious. Also had strawberry-rhubarb pie and an apple dumpling. Yummy!

If you are anywhere near Seneca Falls, this is a place you don't want to miss. It's a true gem. The spices and prices can't be beat. The produce is fresh and some items are so big, like you've never seen before. We picked up a couple of onions much bigger than a softball. We always stop to load up on spices. But there's so much more. We live 450 miles away and our trip was mainly to visit Sauders. It's fun. If we were locals, we would for sure get meats and dairy products. If we could order online, this would be our go to place, but they do not offer that service.

The place is sparkling and with a huge assortment of fresh fruit, veggies, canned and jarred foods. It is well-lit and easy to navigate. I know for sure if we lived anywhere near here, we'd be shopping here regularly. Great to visit and admire the selection.

I had a rueben which was quite good with chips and homemade dill pickles. It is like a big grocery storer run by Mennonites. Their baked goods are homemade with no preservatives. I've had many such as molasses cookies, lemon iced sugar cookies, whoopie pies. There is bulk candy sold in containers, fudge, homemade peanut butter. They also sell flowers and furniture. It is worth the trip. They also make quilts.

Love this store. Though it may be crowded during sales or on the weekend, Sauders is always a good experience. They have great variety of bulk items, a wonderful meat selection, fresh produce, and natural remedies. If you stop in hungry, they also have a cafe. Staff is polite, and helpful.

Stopped at Saunders on Friday coming back from a day trip. All employees had face coverings as well as shoppers. Have been there a few times, always finding store bright and clean. Great atmosphere for shopping. Wish we would have taken a cooler as the price of boneless skinless chicken breast alone would have made the drive worthwhile. Love their baked goods, jellies, freshly made chef salads, and meat selections. I always browse the books, puzzles, and gift section for unique gifts. The ice cream cones / dish sizes are very generous. A fun place to shop!

My husband and I took a 6 day trip to see the colors and sites of New England. We had heard about Sauders, a Mennonite store and it's amazing baked goods and other fantastic items. They were not wrong! Sauders is a BEAUTIFUL big store with the highest quality items. We couldn't help but buy many delicious treats to try, including a cinnamon roll and a chocolate Boston Cream donut the size of a salad plates, a 6 pack of zucchini bars and a 6 pack of pumpkin walnut bars with rich creamy frosting, a gourmet chef salad, several homemade linens and soaps. Have I mentioned the huge variety of jams, homemade peanut butter, sauces and produce?! They also have a wonderful café were we bought made-to-order sub sandwiches and the best cheese curds I've ever eaten! As we drove through Upstate New York, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts admiring the colors and munching on pumpkin and zucchini bars we both agreed Saunders was the perfect way to start our Fall adventure.
