Good place right on the highway. We had to make a u turn to find a parking spot. Glad we did. We both had blt with avocado On pumpernickel. Yum. They say they have fresh tomatoes all year. They sell veggies and bread and all kind of stuff. Good find.

If you make it to Vicksburg, you've got to try this place. Its not very big, only a few tables and sits right on the highway with only a very few parking spaces (I'm recalling 8 or so). They make the best BLT we've ever eaten. Don't know if is the way they toast their bread (you get your choice... More

Don't let the funky appearance and quirky parking fool ya! Pull in, walk past the veggies and grab a menu and table....fast! Go to the counter and order the BLT with avacado and fried green tomatoes. Or the BLT poor boy that comes on a huge hoagie roll thing. The tomatoes were thick, juicy and red...like they were just picked.... More

Amazing food. Cute atmosphere. Fried Green Tomato BLT was delicious. Pretty flowers at front of shop if needing flowers for home.

You may not see this specific sign of the restaurant when on HWY 61 south of Vicksburg, but you will notice The Tomato Place when you see it! The BLT is great . . . get the Po-boy or sandwich. Plus, do not miss the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. Various places to sit inside or outside. And be... More

Food was great and we stocked up on Mississippi Fever sauce. Crazy decor but a must try. BLT with Vadalia onions was great but leave some room for the bread pudding.

I live in the area, but this is a must visit, if only for the smoothies. The food is good, the service is very down home. I love many of the smoothies, my very favorite is called Heavenly Blue, its the best, and I try hard to get by there weekly!

Overall it's a good place to go. Its definitely a different atmosphere. Food is very good and lemonade is some of the best I have had. Very small joint but that adds to the experience . Very friendly staff

This hidden gem is worth the hunt! The Picky 15Yr Old Boy had an omlet sandwich with Mac and cheese. Mister has the breakfast plate with cheese grits. I had a BLT with avacado. All Happy, happy, happy! Thanks Duck Dynasty for the recommendation!

This is such a funky place that we drove past it & had to double back. It was worth it if you are looking for a real southern food experience. We had grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches and fried green tomatoes. You MUST try the latter. The walls are painted many bright colors, reminding us of the islands. It is... More
