It was across the street from our hotel. Tried it for the experience. Not really a fan of spam. Go later in the evening eg after 7pm, there’s less of a lineup then.

There were so many choices of musubi it was hard to choose! The original with teriyaka was good and anything with egg. This is take out only, no seating. With so many choices we ordered too much, but the leftovers were just as good. They...also had poke and lots of musubi souveniers! Great choice and close enough to walk down to the beach to enjoy your meal! Prices were more than reasonable.More

The shop is located on the side of the Pacific Monarch Hotel facing Uluniu Avenue. They offer Musubi (Japanese Sushi/Rice rolls with Spam) with so many filling options that it's hard to decide what to order. With only $2.75 - $4 each you got a...delicious Musubi made from scratch using fresh ingredients and only several of those already fills you up! You don't have to spend a lot in Waikiki to get good food! The shop is small and also sells Musubi and sushi themed merchandise. During busy hours there is almost always a line in front of the store. At these busy times they will take your order and call your number when your order is ready. However we never have to wait for long since each musubi was quickly made.More

Cheap, made to order musubis! Quite a few people waiting outside mostly for their placed orders. Since trying musubi here I became obsessed and inspired to make it at home. Didn't take too long to get our order, they call your number when its ready....It's small inside so you need to wait outside. We placed our order inside (menus outside and also inside). We tried tuna (with mayo), spam/egg/cheese/bacon (yelp discount), avocado/bacon/spam, and spam/egg/cheese. All of these were delicious, and the rice was still warm. It was like eating a hug. I was so tempted to go back and order more! Make sure to check in on yelp for the discounted item.More

My wife and I stopped at Musubi Café Iyasume for a quick snack. We ordered the Avacado, Eel, Egg, Spam Musubi and Salmon Roe and Salmon Rice Ball. Both items had soft savory rice. The Avocado, Eel, Egg, Spam Musubi had nicely briny eel, creamy...avocado, soft egg and meaty spam. The Salmon Roe and Salmon Rice Ball was filled with salty roe and tender salmon. This was a great place for a flavorful and filling snack.More

They have a large variety of made to order musubi and onigiri. They have other items as well. Everything was delicious. We had the plum and shiso, kimchee, and pickled radish musubis and the spicy chicken, and curry tuna onigiri. Everything was delicious and fairly...priced!More

Iyasume is a chain throughout the area, but they do serve up some of the best musubi on the island. It's not grab and go, however. I believe they either make it on the spot or heat it up for each other because it does...take about 15 minutes to get your food.More

This is a small place and the line is always long! Luckily, when I went, there was just one person ahead and a few outside looking at the menu. I had the poke bowl and they made it fast. They put the rice and fish...separate, which was good so I could mix them when I got back to my hotel. I enjoyed it.More

I love these places. The staff are friendly. The rice balls are good and musubi are great and filling. Perfect for breakfast. My only regret is not eating more. I will definitely go here more next time.

Love that place, once you figure what everything is unless you are super familiar with musubis and poke. Prices are super cheap, big portions and fresh food, highly recommended

Spam musubi is a popular snack and lunch food in Hawaii composed of a slice of grilled Spam on top of a block of rice, wrapped together with nori dried seaweed in the tradition of Japanese omusubi.
