Stopped here for lunch while in Waikiki. Had the poke and a drink they call the Haleakala Sunrise. Both were very good. The poke was the best I had while in Honolulu. Give it a try.

The food is awesome, literally the most tastiest seafood I’ve had. Wait staff are very attentive and friendly. We also got some. Samplers which were amazingly delicious. I’d go back anytime when I’m in Waikiki. Concierge was at very attentive. My friends were running late...More

I’ve eaten at Roy’s on the Big Island and the original restaurant on Ohau in addition to Arizona, Florida and California and they are all excellent. Great fish dishes and fabulous service. Go and enjoy😎

This was a typical Roy's menu and we ate here because it was convenient. There were supposedly some special items on the meny only available here, but we ordered what we've had in our Naples, Florida location. Server really rushed the dinner service.

Warm welcome and able server. What could go wrong? We got banquetted! Our server kindly explained that unfortunately our entrees were delayed as the kitchen was struggling to cope with 2 banquets that they were treating as priority. We politely waited for well over yet...More

Any excuse you can find is a good reason to visit Roy’s. Our family celebrates most special occasions at Roy’s. I personally prefer the Hawaii Kai restaurant more because of location. The views are phenomenal, the sunset spectacular. Watching the local fisherman as they enter...More

Hi. We dined there at 7pm on June 29th and sat at one of the outdoor tables. Hope this helps. The food was still good, we just missed the total experience enjoyed earlier in our holiday.

I didn't find the restaurant overly cold at all, but as mentioned above there is plenty of outdoor seating you could try. I'd agree with an earlier reply to give them a quick call too. Hope you enjoy it!
