Great little cafe / bar / milk bar / memorabilia / photo opportunity place to eat. Fonzy chips; Lucy and Dezie Nachos and so on. Televisions showing clips of old movies, tv shows and movie stars. Quiz cards on the table while you wait for your meal; that's after you have taken a photo on the old car Chevy seat,... More

Just a great place to get out of the Waikiki rat race and enjoy a burger and a cocktail. The burgers are really nice. Staff are wonderful, and the memorabilia will keep you starstruck for ages. Our second trip to Waikiki and we went back to Rock Island twice!

Found this place after a couple of less than ordinary meals at the markets outside this was a little piece of the 50's, it was as much for the experience as anything else, but the food was good and staff friendly. . It is not fine dining by any stretch so as long as you go knowing that you won't... More

We found this place by accident and once we opened the door we felt like we'd been transported back to the 50's. It has so much memorabilia and you can even buy many of the items. Loved sitting in a booth, sipping a cold beer while my eyes danced from one thing to the next. A definite stop if you... More

You go here as much for the experience as anything else. we had heard about this "Happy Days" diner and it is certainly everything 50s and 60s. It is not fine dining by any stretch so as long as you go knowing that you won't be disappointed. Taking a look around at the memorabilia is fun as well.

It's about the experience, not the food, although I've never had a bad meal here. Rock Island has an INCREDIBLE collection of vintage memorabilia from Hollywood's Golden Age. Posters, mugs, pictures, dolls, buttons, and thousands of other novelty items surround you as you eat while TV theme songs from the 50s and 60s play above you. You have to stop... More

We ate here on night on our holiday and it wasn't that good. I had the pizza and it tasted like it was a frozen pizza and the pineapple was cold on top. My sister enjoyed her cheese pizza. The kids where happy with the burger and chips which I have to say that the chips where amazing! I ordered... More

Heard about this place so had to pop in & check out what they have for sale. Found some great Betty Boop items to take home. Great burgers at this 50's style diner. Stay a while & check out the memorabilia.

this cafe is a wonderful place to visit and see and buy memorbilla from days gone by, they also serve drinks and meals. Happy hour is also a nice touch with cocktails on offer - seem like you are back in the 50's
