All I have to say is Wow! The coffee was amazing, the black sesame kouign amann and the pineapple coconut almond croissant were delish! The only down side was the hour long line and wait for coffee. The wait aside, it was worth it. I...don’t know that I would wait an hour every day, but it’s definitely worth doing at least once.More

I never wait in lines. Ever. Which clearly limits my participation in certain ‘hot’ establishments that don’t take reservations. But I made an exception here, posted up 30’ before opening where I found myself second in line. The pastries (croissants, coffee cakes with island twist)...are every bit as good as you’d get in Paris. Only Parisians will deny this, and they’ll be lying. The coffee is absolutely top notch- Kuala Lai and other single origin beauties. Worth the wait.More

Top notch. Excellent quality coffee and baked goods! The people working there were also very polite and were smiling all the time. When they called your name, they also gave you the details of what you ordered. Validate your parking!

With lines wrapped around the block I expected more. Good coffee and pastries: the rating would be higher if they'd open more than one cash register. Poor management decision.

As a bit of a coffee snob (I love light and medium roast single origin coffees) this place was a real treat. Hawaiian coffee done extremely well, with a very good patisserie inside as well. Service was very friendly and lovely. There's also whole bean...coffees to take home, and they have all of them on drip to sample, which was very cool to try. A lot of very impressive coffees with unique flavours. Only complaint is the prices. Everything is a bit pricey, even for Hawaii, but especially the beans - bags ranging $40-$50 for 12 oz.More

Enjoyed a cup of Kona drip coffee; flavor profile is outside of my ‘norm’ but I enjoyed trying something new. The pastries are ‘WOW!’ I had an apple kouign amann, almond coconut croissant and the suisse pastry with custard and chocolate. KCP is a 30...minute walk from where I stayed so it was a one time indulgence during my vacation. I ate a little inside the mall on a bench next to a waterfall which only enhanced this amazing breakfastMore

I saw Kona across from my hotel every morning and there was always a line out the door. I always love trying something local, so one morning, I was in line at 7am as that is when they opened. I was not sure what to...expect as I had never been here before, so aside from ordering my normal Latte, I was able to see what all the fuss was about. They have an incredibly dedicated bakery section and when I asked what was recommended, I was told the Ahanini which is like a Cronut. They had a black sesame and apple one and I got one of each. I have to say that these were incredible and I was hooked. I had these a few more times afterward even if I did not have the coffee. I found the coffee to be average and I liked the Starbucks Reserve down the street a bit better. Still, you cannot go wrong with any bakery items here.More

Decent coffee, was disappointed that the coffee was expensive and then they upcharge you another dollar if you actually want Kona, which is likely the reason you are coming here in the first place. Would not go back.

Just short of $5 for a Large Cafe Latte. The pastries are exceptional and all made on site, they range from around $4. If you are a fussy coffee drinker like me, Kona provides a more authentic latte, especially when... More
