Classic rock but good. Bartender shorted me $10 but I think it was an honest mistake, I hope. Went upstairs which is more chill than downstairs.

Went to see the band on Sat. night and they were old school hip hop. Raucous crowd and the drinks do flow. Didn't see many people eating so I can't comment on the food. Still a fun night and everyone was out for a good...More

The Newport Blues Cafe is not known for its food -- it's known for its music scene, so keep that in mind if you plan to eat here. Food is not their specialty. The dining area is mainly in the back, especially if there is...More

Left the place after standing at the bar for ten minutes while the bartender did nothing other than chat with her friends. The place smelled so bad that we would probably have left anywhere, but the fact that the bartender saw us standing there waiting...More

Went on a Friday night, had a great time with a group of friends. Danced all night! Blues always has awesome bands. BUT~don't eat there. Eat anywhere else, and come back for the music. Fun place, will be back-for music and drinks only!
