You go here because it is where buffalo hot wings were invented and they are good. Nice meaty and flavorful. Enough said.

Had heard of buffalo wings in U.K. But hadn't realised they were actually invented in Buffalo until we were here on a visit! Decided to taste them where they originated and we were not disappointed! They were delicious! We had a double of the medium...More

Don't miss this place. If you like 'em spicy then this is the place! Try suicide if you dare but hot is pretty good too. Take home a bottle of sauce just for the memories. I had the chicken salad - it was kinda a...More

Some people say it sucks, I disagree. Its good. Its not great, but for what it is its delicious. The "original" wing. You could eat elsewhere, but how often can you say you've eaten where it was invented.

Anchor Bar is where the Buffalo chicken wing originated. It has a biker bar feel, the wings are terrific and its a pretty big dining area. When I was there, there was a live jazz band playing which was unique and cool. If you're in...More

Super disappointed, totally not worth it. Far better wing places in Buffalo. Bad service, bad food.. won't go back.

Original wings and pizza are outstanding! We enjoyed the ambiance and nostalgia in the history of the original Buffalo wings! When in Buffalo don't miss this stop!

We will be traveling through this summer and would like to visit the home of the original Buffalo wings. However, we will be in a motorhome (27ft). On the map, the location looks pretty urban. Is there any place to park oversized vehicles nearby?

you would probably not be able to park in adjacent lot, but if you're willing to walk a block or so, there are other parking opportunities.
