My husband and I stopped here for lunch when we were visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park because it was literally the only thing that was open. I am a vegetarian and the only meal item on the menu I could eat was a salad, but...More

Slightly pricey for what we had. Limited menu and staff. My bacon cheeseburger was okay, but dry, I did not get the mayo and bbq sauce I asked for. Fries were very good. My husband’s burger was average he says. Only place open, just about.

The staff here is very friendly and the food is very good. I was here during the off-season so there was no waiting at all for service. Nice and clean too.

This place was awesome. The staff may have been a little overwhelmed with the amount of business at the end of the season. but you really could not tell. The service was great both nights that I ate there. The atmosphere was fun and I...More

Short on help off-season, but still provided good service, and made our drinks the way they should be.

My uncle and I were traveling and decided to take a detour through Medora. It is the 'off' season for them, so not much open. However we did find this restaurant and it was a good one! We split a double burger and sweet potato...More

A great place to end your night after visiting Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The atmosphere is fun and the food was just as good. Live Band.

Warning...if you are heading to Boots in the "off season", disregard their on-line menu. Off season starts around mid-Sept. Once that magic date arrives, this establishment is on a "limited menu", so no game (ex. bison and elk). We ended up with two burgers, both...More

The Boots Bar & Grill was formerly the Iron Horse Saloon. New owners have taken over and were not allowed the former name, which I feel is actually to their advantage. We have eaten there three different times while passing through North Dakota and would like to leave a review under the new name of "Boots Bar & Grill". It looks like they have expanded. It is a western themed saloon with a large screened in porch as you first walk in, saloon has several large tables made from huge tree slabs, there is a spiral stairway that leads to a large loft for serving 30-45 with an open terrace on top that also has several tables outside.
