If you're looking for great, authentic Thai food with a fantastic waitstaff, this is the place! Fresh curry and seafood dishes, and some of the best Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles I've ever had. Plus, if a member of your party is celebrating a birthday, be sure to tell a waiter! They will turn off the lights, turn on the... More

Thai Rak Thai Salad and Drunken Noodles are delish.. Very nice staff. If you are really hungry split some Golden Triangle apps..super filling. Ask for your Bubble Tea Latte style or it will come frozen style.

We went for lunch on a recent trip to Steamtown National Park. Everybody enjoyed their food and I would rate it a solid B. The staff were friendly and helpful and the decor was pleasant. Prices were quite reasonable and we were quite satisfied overall. I would rate this as a reliable choice for dining.

I always manage to go to Thai Rak Thai whenever visiting my friends in PA. The food is consistently great and the wait staff always attentive to your likes and needs. The Crispy Duck is the best I ever had any where in the world. Be sure to get the sauce on the side to preserve the crispyness of the... More

Pad thai and other thai cuisine served fast and reasonable prices. Dishes are large so they are easy to share with kids and something tontake home for lunch. Good place, was nearly full middle of the week.

Love this spot! All of their food is delicious! I especially like their green curry with chicken and the Thai iced tea. Together they are a wonderful combination. The place is nice inside and the wait staff are friendly. We are never disappointed!

It seems today many restaurants are raising their prices and cutting their portions and Thai Rak Thai on Adams Avenue in Scranton is no exception. I ordered the Pad Preow Wan (sweet & sour) and it had literally three pieces of chicken in it. The taste was good but I will not return here again. Tired of being chipped by... More

Description
Thai Rak Thai restaurant was opened in 2006. It is located on Adams Avenue, downtown of Scranton. The restaurant is made up of two dining rooms which serve approximately 120 customers. The interior is decorated with some unique artworks from Thailand. As you dine in, the Asian style interior design, foods and Thai music will give you a warm and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for chatters, family gathering, and even business meals. We serve original and fusion Thai foods which include vegetarian, vegan, seafood, poultry and meat, choice of noodles and rice, which are seasoned with Thai spice and herbs.

For beverages, we offer drinks that are originally served in Thailand such as Thai tea, coffee, coconut juice, etc.

Besides, our restaurant is BYOB which allows customers to bring their own choice of alcohol beverages without extra charge for opening the bottle and chilling. We also reserve tables for customers who plan to have celebration on special occasions. Nonetheless, we have our special way of dedicating birthday songs which will definitely give you a surprise!

We would like to thank all customers who given us the chance to serve you. We will maintain the quality of food and provide our best service to all customers. We will not stop improving in order to deliver what is best for you. We hope that all of you will return to the restaurant in the future and give us the chance to serve you again.
