Only about 12 tables with no alcohol but y9u can bring your own for a $2/table fee. Food was very good but servings seemed small. Decor is basic made up of local newspaper write ups hang at different angles on the wall. The service was...More

Delicious food, BYOB, reasonable prices. Might take a while to get a table - when I was leaving there was a line over all place - which is basically a good sign :)

Chef Wayne's Big Mamou is not a restaurant rather, it's a destination and a unique experience in the most unexpected of locations. Springfield has had its ups an downs, and the bus station although convenient to many, is not exactly the epicenter for cuisines. If...More

I love this place. I have been to New Orleans several times and the food here is just like there! Chef Wayne knows what he is doing. Try the crawfish quesadilla is a must try. BYOB

The owner/chef is from New Orleans and it certainly shows. There is no other cajun restaurant that I know of in the entire area but it would stack up nicely with anything on Bourbon street! It’s small with very limited seating but does a huge...More

I went there for lunch in December. The place was packed. It's a tiny place and people are willing to wait extra minutes. Friendly service. Good food at reasonable price. Can't beat it!

I think that they do not take reservations. Just be prepared to wait a bit for a table. Also, it is a BYO for beer & wine. It's worth the wait...the food is delicious!

I looked on-line at their menus and didn't see that offering. They may rotate their menus and this would be served at other times during the year.
