We were impressed by the quality, originality, and the taste of almost all the dishes we tried. The wine selection was also good, only charge twice of market release price. Service excellent and very attentive. Ambience, not much.... very small place, with very narrow space...More

Stopped in here while touring the Santa Fe Plaza. This place does not disappoint and we loved the small plates - it was not too much for a quick lunch. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Nice variety so should be something for everyone.

La Boca has been around a while and still provides some well thought out tapas as well as a good array of sherries and wines to accompany. The specials were particularly good (this time it was soft shell crabs) and the other dishes were almost...More

This restaurant has really two separate dining spaces. One downstairs on marcy st and the other behind it elevated on a second level with outdoor dining. We sat outside and they were very accommodating by bringing out a heater since it was chilly. The paella...More

Having traveled to Spain and enjoyed tapa dining, decided to make a reservation at La Boca for dinner (which are generally necessary). Located on a side street near the town square. Probably due to it's popularity, tables are quite close and the restaurant was very...More

We didn't have a reservation for a Friday evening, but were fortunate to grab a table before the dinner crowd arrived. We shared four tapas: Quesos de la Casa (cheese board--goat cheese was my fav!), Jambon Serrano (dry cured Spanish ham), bacon wrapped dates (with...More

We had booked our five nights of restaurants before we arrived in Santa Fe. La Boca was the second night. We were so overcome by this fabulous eatery that we cancelled one of our future reservations and rebooked La Boca. Better tapas than SPAIN! One...More

We had not booked so we went early at 5pm and managed to get a table but by 6pm the restaurant had really filled up so perhaps best to book. Quite an informal restaurant with very efficient and friendly service. We ordered 4 different tapas...More

Located on a side street, and in the middle of the block sits this little restaurant . They seemed fairly busy for a late lunch, but were seated immediately. The restaurant filled up at that point. Service good. Tapas looked good, but we have that...More

I don't know about the tasting menu, we had dinner there once in May and it was wonderful. I don't think you can go wrong here. Make sure you have a reservation.

Description
Opened in 2006 by 8 time James Beard Award Nominee, Chef James Campbell Caruso.
La Boca has the feel of a lively European wine bar, featuring an extensive selection of carefully chosen Mediterranean and South American wines. Knowledgeable and animated staff graciously guide customers to the perfect wine to complement their meals. La Boca also prides itself on being an ambassador of Spanish sherry culture, transporting its guests to Cadiz in the crisp cool flavors of Fino, or the deep fig-essence of a Pedro Ximenez.
Full to capacity almost every night since its opening, La Boca has been a hit with both locals and the world travelers that visit Santa Fe. La Boca has earned numerous awards both local and national, including the Santa Fe Reporter’s “Restaurant of the Year,” and the International Wine and Food Society’s “Award of Excellence.”
