While visiting Santa Fe my husband & I enjoyed dinner here. We had about 5 small plates, a good bottle of wine and an outstanding dessert Gateau Basque. The atmosphere, our waiter and the food all made for a wonderful experience. Wish La Boca was located in our home town -- we'd be frequent diners.

The menu and wine list are extremely impressive and extensive so we had difficulty choosing. The ambience is a little crammed, but the food make it well worth it. We went with a tempranillo flight, which was great value fantastic wines (we wrote all 3 down to add to our cellar collection). For food, we tried the jamon iberrica (melt... More

Had reservations for 6:45, but they had a large party and were running behind. No problem as they sent us around the corner where we could sit down at a bar while we waited rather than standing in the doorway. We ordered artichokes, mussels, octopus, and roasted olives. Every thing was simply delicious with very unusual flavors. The soft guitar... More

Was given the option of dining in the room with the flamenco guitarist and was glad we did. Tapas were excellent and the music was also first rate. Bruschetta was tremendous but filling and our waiter was correct in making that the last dish as we probably couldn't have much else if that was first. Highly recommended if you like... More

Wow, my daughter and I came here on Feb27, the host was so hospitable and friendly, got us at the chef's table with live music playing. That was just the start...the space was happening...lots of verve. Started with a wonderful bottle of Dehesa La Granja, 2008 a bold medium-dry red wine. This place had entrees and tapas, all creative and... More

We were glad to find this cozy tapas place, and the food was wonderful. Very nice wine list, too! But the heat on this March night was oppressive, and we fled the restaurant as soon as we could. It was cool outside, but blasting with heat inside. Sad to see the wait staff wilting.

We'd visited here a few years back and were not happy with our reception. It'd happened twice in a row so we hadn't been back for a couple of years or so but I'm so glad we gave it another try. All restaurants go through having a bad day and even bad management but La Baca has definitely addressed those... More

My husband and I made reservations for dinner here last night. We were so disappointed by the service we got up and left...something we've never done. We came in right behind another couple who did not have reservations. We're assuming they are regulars, since even without reservations they were seated at the best table and waited on immediately. Meanwhile, my... More

We had a girls lunch here, and the food and wine was delicious. We drank a Rioja and shared the artichoke, brussels sprouts, and potato tapas. All were very tasty. And the service was excellent.

This is a very good 'family' or 'date night' kind of place with nice food, elegantly served. Our family group of four enjoyed it; our hosts, who live half-time in Santa Fe, are regulars. Not to be a whiner, but you can't rely on La Boca's web site. The online menu promised their delicious to-die-for hummus appetizers, but we were... More
