I have rarely seen a hotel restaurant so reasonable and good! Those blue corn meal pancakes were wonderful! Everything we had was delicious and the service was excellent.

We stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe and had two dinners and one breakfast at Amaya. We love the food there. Among those meals, we had vegetarian tortilla soup and creamy corn soup at both dinners. My wife had the lamb chop appetizer both nights and I had seabass over black pasta and then chicken. All were flavorful, well prepared... More

We were so impressed by the Dinner entrees and especially the duck with the pilaf and brussel sprouts. The flavors were complex and unique.

My husband had the Ribeye and I chose the pork chop. Excellent meals! The veal reduction glaze was excellent on both, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Wonderful portions, great service (Beth), and very reasonably priced. The dining room itself is very welcoming and incredibly relaxing.

We stay at Hotel Santa Fe every time we are in Santa Fe and frequently eat at Amaya. They offer some of the most delectable and diverse food in New Mexico, and the staff are simply the best! Dinners are presented with a flair and sophistication that is reminiscent of a fine dining restaurant. The difference is that you are... More

This is a great place for a leisurely lunch with friends or business associates. The menu is quite creative and all dishes are prepared with lots of attention to detail and taste. The sun room with the fireplace is light and airy and the seating quite relaxing. You will like this place.

Amaya, located at Hotel SantaFe, a was recommended to us by our hotel. Our arrival coincided with an artist talk by a local aboriginal sculptor. Although the special prix fix menu for the occasion looked tempted, I opted for Stuffed Poblano Chile and my dining companion selected Sea Salt Crusted Pork Chop. Both were presented elegantly. Stuffed Poblano Chile was... More

We stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe and ate at the Amaya Restaurant several times - food was excellent! Service was very good and we would highly recommend this restaurant. It was quiet enough that we could hear each other across the table.

After visiting museums all day long, we were very tired and decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, there was only a couple of vegetarian options and that was the salad. All the main entrees were not vegetarian friendly, nor kid friendly. We did not have a child under the age of 10 to qualify for the kids... More

Thank you for your thoughts which are indeed appropriate and we shall certainly make hamburgers, etc. available in the evenings in the Restaurant and not just on the bar menu. My sincere apologies if the service was slow - no excuse on a slow night. Many thanks for staying with us and please do come back. We can certainly do... More
