We ate dinner at El Meson's restaurant while visiting a colleague so it was part business and part pleasure. The service was pretty poor. Our waiter split his time between the bar and the restaurant and was hard to flag down. The food was very...More

We usually get a few tapas when we come here but this time we specifically came to try the paella. We had the Paella De Mariscos, it was all seafood and delicious! Tried the orange flan this time, also very good. Highly recommend!

My wife and I visited this restaurant for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The tapas were excellent and the live music was great. Brother "E", (Clayton West) did an outstanding job of entertaining the crowd with great music. Normally you would get several different tapas...More

Although we had not booked we were lucky to get a table in the restaurant on a Friday evening although it was very busy. We only wanted a light meal so just had 4 tapas between us. They were all good - tasty and good...More

Visited Santa Fe for our second time and booked at El Meson for our first night dining experience. We were greeted by the hostess and immediately sat down in the restaurant. Since this is a Spanish Restaurant, I was not knowledge about the Spanish wines....More

We ate here only once, but it was essentially perfect. Food was fresh and flavorful, wait staff was attentive and professional; music from jazz duo enhanced the entire experience and our only regret was that we weren't in town longer to return again.

We opted to sit in the bar, it was Jazz night. It gets a little loud but that doesn't bother us. We had about 5 tapas plus the 3 oz. filet, all were very good. No room for dessert, but we will be back. We...More

We had tried to get reservations during prior trips, but they were always closed when we were there. Dinner reservations for two for a special occasion and El Mason did not disappoint. From the apology up front for having to wait while someone was on...More

Food was ok. Blue crab croquets were mushy inside and were short on actual crab, the shrimp salad was very small but good. The lamb chops had a strong gas BBQ flavor, really overwhelming the meat. Disappointing. The main problem with our dining experience was...More

We stopped in for an early dinner at El Meson and were not disappointed. The potato leak soup was very good (and graciously split for us). The fish special (halibut) was perfectly cooked. Small place, so reserve of coming later. We looked in on the...More

Not sure about what time the music starts. I do not believe there is a charge for the flamenco but the performances are in the bar portion of the building and I have only dined in the restaurant portion. I would call the... More

Hi! I wanted to dine in the Bar and go tapa crazy but the rest of our party wanted the main dining room. It is quieter and we still went tapa crazy. Enjoy!
