We really enjoyed our recent dinner at Dinner For Two. The restaurant was full and we were the last table seated at 7:00 on Saturday. We started with the Cesar Salad for 2 prepared tableside. What a treat - it was delicious. We ordered the NY Strip steak and Veal Marsala. Both came with sides of mashed potato and mixed... More

A local friend introduced us to this restaurant. We stopped for a drink and appetizers on a Saturday afternoon. 1st the food was amazing. The mushroom soup was one of the best things I have EVER had. Several tapas type appetizers followed by pie....we were satisfies until the next day. Happy hour is an economical way to dine at this... More

Chef Andy, his Dad Gregory and Mom Pam all welcome you into their kitchen, home, and into the Dining Room. You truly feel far beyond just diners. These people care about everyone who walks in the door from my husband that worked with Dad some 50 years here in downtown Santa Fe to a first visitor. Their food is just... More

The problem with an incredible reputation is that it can create almost unfair expectations. Regardless of the domain, if someone or something is highly touted, then it's a high probability that others will expect that someone or something to deliver on the promise its reputation created. Such was my experience with Dinner for Two. Friends and colleagues spoke volumes of... More

My husband and I decided to stop by for Happy Hour, it was 1/2 price for selected appetizers. We tried the prime rib sliders, the salmon fish and chips and the beef tips and quesa. All were excellent, and the beers on tap were very good. I insisted on a chocolate dessert, so got the fudge cake with espresso ice... More

It was not a busy night and the service was so slow we had to ask for our wine twice. Bread is delicious but the promised fresh loaf never appeared. We had read about the wonderful caesar salad and it was a huge disappointment.

Wanted to try something different for a special occasion. Heard good things about the restaurant so gave it a shot. Service was a little spotty, but I would chalk it up to an overly busy night because of "restaurant week". Seating is tight and you will hear and be part of your neighbors conversation. It's ok with us as friendly... More

My partner and I dined during "Restaurant Week," when tourism is slow in Santa Fe and many local restaurants offer affordable, priced fixed menu choices during dinner (in addition to the regular menu). The food was excellent, but wait staff was a bit slow due to the crowd dining on this particular Friday night. Loved the octopus, seaweed salad and... More

We had walked the restaurant a few times in our stay in Santa Fe, and I'll have to admit it really was very plain looking. Just flat walls against the side walk. My wife saw it listed in the Santa Fe Restaurant Week. We looked up reviews and found them very good. We entered, and a long counter that faced... More
