My husband and I decided to stop by for Happy Hour, it was 1/2 price for selected appetizers. We tried the prime rib sliders, the salmon fish and chips and the beef tips and quesa. All were excellent, and the beers on tap were very good. I insisted on a chocolate dessert, so got the fudge cake with espresso ice... More

It was not a busy night and the service was so slow we had to ask for our wine twice. Bread is delicious but the promised fresh loaf never appeared. We had read about the wonderful caesar salad and it was a huge disappointment.

Wanted to try something different for a special occasion. Heard good things about the restaurant so gave it a shot. Service was a little spotty, but I would chalk it up to an overly busy night because of "restaurant week". Seating is tight and you will hear and be part of your neighbors conversation. It's ok with us as friendly... More

My partner and I dined during "Restaurant Week," when tourism is slow in Santa Fe and many local restaurants offer affordable, priced fixed menu choices during dinner (in addition to the regular menu). The food was excellent, but wait staff was a bit slow due to the crowd dining on this particular Friday night. Loved the octopus, seaweed salad and... More

We had walked the restaurant a few times in our stay in Santa Fe, and I'll have to admit it really was very plain looking. Just flat walls against the side walk. My wife saw it listed in the Santa Fe Restaurant Week. We looked up reviews and found them very good. We entered, and a long counter that faced... More

Dinner for Two (or D42, as it is known to some) is a family owned and operated restaurant that has been around for many years. The menu is varied, but there are definitely some items that are more special than others, starting with the addictive homemade bread that will greet you when you sit down (although I would still prefer... Quality of meal was perfect. Large portion of meat. Great bread. The only point that could have been better is that the prime rib special was not rare enough. We ordered rare and it wasn't available. The server said he gave us the rarest and it was medium. It would have been better to come back and say what was... More
