El Canon bar in the Santa Fe Hilton used to be a charming, Santa Fe watering hole with a beautiful copper bar, a warming fireplace, comfy bancos and other New Mexico style seating. The best thing of all was a great view down San Francisco Street to the Cathedral/Basilica. That view is particularly glorious at night during Christmas time. Now,... More

This is a quirky bar and grill with a twist- instead of the usual cold deli meat, you're given a choice of sliced-as-you-watch meats on a fresh sandwich roll. You can make it soup or salad with the sandwich for a reasonable price. The wait staff is attentive and the food is tasty. I eat here whenever I stay at... More

Got in town later than hoped and we're happy to find a restaurant in our hotel. Happy ended there. Took much too long to place our order and food took longer than expected to arrive. We both ordered the "famous" ribs and decided "notorious" was a better description! Baked potatoes were undercooked. NOTE: there was a SINGLE PERSON working that... More

This hidden gem definitely deserves a visit. We went to the restaurant in the Hilton Hotel because we were too tired to walk somewhere else and had a great evening. Jellyfish and Steve handled the full house with wit and humor and were very interactive. The blue corn chicken chili enchiladas were the best meal on this road trip. Prepared... More

The staff was superb and made the lunch special. The dinner was a green chili enchilada (i lover green chili's in food). It was very good and a... More

Warm and relaxing, helpful service. Gluten free options. Delicious soups and fresh salad. Darling dining room with fireplace was great on a cold day. This is the kind of place you can sit and relax for an afternoon. Prices were good. Dining room and bathrooms were super clean.

El Canon is right across the street for the Eldorado hotel. It's very relaxing, with a warm fireplace in the corner. The drinks are strong and the food is spicy. The bartender is great, friendly and makes you feel like you're visiting his home.

Wandered into this small restaurant bar on Columbus Day looking for a simple lunch. The food was delicious, the ambiance charming, and the service was as warm and welcoming as anything I can remember. I was even offered a an extra half & half in a to-go cup. What a wonderful experience!!!
