My experience with this restaurant goes back to their Bobcat Bite days. This downtown Santa Fe edition has lots more room, a larger menu, a brighter and cleaner environment and the same great food. I've never been disappointed.

The Green Chile Hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benny is AWESOME! Prices are fantastic. Go hungry and go often. Their burgers are great too!

We were fortunate to return to Santa Fe Bite (formerly known as Bobcat Bite) to find a new location only a couple of blocks from the Santa Fe old square. And the burgers! You need to be hungry to go here and I guarantee you'll...More

We went to Bob Cat Bite years ago during a yearly Santa Fe visit and always remembered the wonderful hamburgers we ate there. But its location was just a tad too far away for us to go on ensuing trips to the area. So when...More

I heard this was voted one of the best burgers in the USA. Had the green chili burger. It was very good but not all that. The onion rings are good. Milk shake was very good. The service was excellent.

We enjoyed a late evening meal here thanks to TripAdvisor. We took the waiter's advice and ordered the Green Chili Cheeseburgers with homemade chips, without the cheese for me. Delicious! We will eat healthy next week 🙂 Nice, casual old school atmosphere with friendly and...More

We were looking for a good hamburger when we were in Santa Fe and Santa Fe Bite was recommended to us. We weren't sure when we saw the location at a motel, but we were hungry. Oh my goodness, don't miss this place! It was...More

Stopped in for lunch on way through town. Food was great. Burgers were fantastic. They let us have our dogs outside with us. They even brought the dogs their own water dish and later brought out a mini burger patty for the pups. We will...More

Sorry, I thought I was replying to a reviewer's post. Didn't know how this thing worked. I'd like to remove the question but can't.

Under the right circumstances, perhaps. Like during a slow time and when not preoccupied by a compelling administrative chore JE

Description
The Famous Green Chile Cheeseburgers are back! John and Bonnie Eckre, formerly of Bobcat Bite, are taking their food to the next level at the new Santa Fe Bite located inside Garrett's Desert Inn on Old Santa Fe Trail. In addition to their savory Green Chile Cheeseburgers, Santa Fe Bite features fresh tacos, fish and chips, sandwiches, a choice of French or sweet potato fries and a little something they like to call 'The Big Bite' that comes with a side of buttery garlic bread. Creamy milkshakes and homemade lemonade are just some of the sweet treats popping up on their new menu. Also, we are now serving beer and wine. Santa Fe Bite opens at 8am Saturday and Sunday which means early birds can sample tasty Breakfast menu offerings like hot cornmeal pancakes with maple syrup, brioche French toast with maple caramel sauce and house-made biscuits with Mom's gravy. Spend a leisurely Sunday outside at Santa Fe Bite. The new Brunch menu includes eggs benedict, Steak & Eggs and Huevos Rancheros.
